I stayed at Old Court for the weekend with some friends who were also in town for my bridal shower. The staff was amazing and so friendly - it definitely felt more like we were staying at a friends house than at a hotel. The rooms were great and there is a big dining room on the first floor that...

I spent two nights at the Old Court Bed and Breakfast in July, 2015. I shared the Miss Marple room (2nd floor, 2 twin beds) with a friend. The location of the B & B is perfect, and you can easily walk to college hill (Brown & RISD campus), Wickenden St. and downtown. It is located on Benefit Street, one...

I will say that the mattress wasn't the best- it sagged so much that we put it on the floor. The innkeeper wasn't thrilled about that, but didn't interfere. He did allow us to change rooms on the third evening of our three night stay. We went to the top floor, had a smaller room, with a nice view of...

Yes,I was unhappy about your dilemma but agreed to your temporary solution.Glad that you enjoyed your third floor room.We have replaced several of our mattresses since the time of your stay almost a year ago. We buy our coffee locally from the Coffee Exchange on Wickeden street and support as many of our local purveyors as possible. Thank you for...

Spent one night here, as location was very convenient (walking distance) to Brown. I really enjoyed it. It might not be the fanciest B&B I've ever seen, but it is definitely one of the most welcoming, so that's why I am rating it four bubbles--three for accommodation (hallways could use bit of a refresh), five for staff & welcoming atmosphere....

On the New England college tour circuit. The rooms wre beautiful, clean, firm matresses, wonderful shower pressure. The staff was very kind and helpful. Breakfasts were amazing as were the freshly baked cookies always available. Kudos for making our starting point on this trip such a welcoming event.

Stayed just one night packing up my recently graduated daughter from Brown. Very convenient location. Room was comfortable but a bit shabby. Breakfast was good, service too. Not the most fancy or elegant, but good address for a visit to Brown or RISD. Off street parking a plus.

After hitting hotel after hotel on the family road trip from CT to ME (and everywhere in between) it was a pleasant surprise to find something different. Felt like a stop at home! With breakfast and great coffee! Loved waking to the smell of bacon! Also the host went out of his way to make a pot of coffee for...

My friend and I went to Providence for a girl's weekend. We loved the Old Court and would stay here again in a heartbeat. The room was spacious with two very comfortable twin beds, the bathroom was a good size, with the usual amenities. The b&b is in a perfect location and in walking distance of everything we wanted to...

Thank you for your thoughtful review of the old court.I must apologize for the tardy response. Our cook-Paddy-tries very hard to prepare a wonderful breakfast each morning and many guests would agree that the results are excellent. I hope you have another chance to visit it Providence and it would be our pleasure to accommodate you again. Best, Max

I found the Old Court B&B on Tripadvisor and I'm so glad I did. My daughter was visiting Brown, and the Old Court is within walking distance. The room was quaint and quiet; the staff incredibly professional and service oriented; the breakfast of blueberry pancakes was delicious (even the coffee was good ... and I'm pretty picky). We were able...

I would like to live here. It does feel like someone's grandmother's house, all the old wallpaper, the antique furniture a little weathered, so comfortable and clean. It's convenient to Brown and downtown, there are always cookies when you come in, and Max is an amazingly friendly and yet not overbearing host. The breakfasts are fine and cooked to order....
