Girls trip to the Stanley Hotel...rooms 422 & 424....FUN We took the 9:00 pm tour and I actually shot some ORB pictures(pretty cool)...FOOD and DRINKS were good and our TABLE RESERVATION for dinner was a BLAST. The rooms were OK...no air conditioning and the doors creaked but the shower and bed were WONDERFUL👍You should go because the MEMORIES ARE FABULOUS.

There's no denying that this is a wonderful property. A beautiful hotel in a beautiful setting. Well cared for and historic. But really, the service was consistently mediocre. I'd give this 1 star just because of service, the the two stars is for the nice property. Desk was rude when I checked in, and the folks in the room next...

Despite a few shortcomings mainly due to the age of the building, our visit to the historic Stanley was great fun. The location is wonderful, the historical tour is highly recommended, and so is the food at the hotel's restaurant.

We did not actually stay at the hotel we just went for a day visit. The staff was friendly and the hotel looks very nice on the inside. We took a lot of pictures and they have movie memorabilia from the Stephen Kings the "Shining"

We stayed there on a last minute whim. We got into Room 418 (which they say is one of the most haunted). Nothing happen. We took the 90 minute Ghost Tour. It was full, but they say they accommodate hotel guests if they prove they are guests. The tour was interesting, but a little hyped up. For example, the tour...

For those of us who experienced the classic movie, The Shining, it is a must see! Restored to an impressive level, the hotel allows the mystery to remain the dominant "feel" of the hotel and the grounds. We loved getting to see the movie connection. We also appreciated how the early history of the National Park was tied to the...

We stayed one night at the Stanley Hotel in The Lodge and overall it was a great experience. On the plus side, the Lodge was very comfortable and we had a suite which was beautiful. The staff were very friendly and it was quiet and relaxing. The breakfast was fantastic. All freshly made and a great selection of pastries, fruits,...

Built in 1909 and named after its founder, Freelan Oscar Stanley, this impressive hotel is located in the magnificent setting of Estes Park, gateway to the Rocky Mountains. Since being the inspiration of Stephen King's 'The Shining', the writer having stayed in room 217, it has been featured as one of America's most haunted hotels with many stories being told...

Estes Park is a great place to visit and the Stanley is the place to stay. We stayed overnight while out viewing the Autumn colors. Just a wonderful place to relax and enjoy Autumn in the mountains of Colorado.
