We stayed in unit 11, which has a wood-burning fireplace, small kitchen, and king bed.(they sold firewood for $4/bundle at the main office) Everything was clean and well-maintained. The only thing I would have changed would be to have a separate living area. Otherwise, great service and location. We came in late, and they left our keys in the dropbox...

Hi Jacintha! Thank you for your wonderful review! We are so glad you enjoyed your stay in Unit #11 at Timber Creek. Thank you also for your feedback about the living area - we will definitely take that into consideration and see if there is any way to create that space for future stays. We are glad you were able...

We have stayed here previously and have enjoyed our stay. However, this time we stayed in #3, which is a 2 bedroom and advertised a futon in the living room. The futon turned out to be a sleeper couch, which had a very slim uncomfortable pad. Although it said it could accommodate 6 people, the table in the living room...

Hi Becky, and thank you so much for your feedback. We are so sorry that you did not enjoy your most recent stay at Timber Creek Chalets. We will certainly check on those details you mentioned in your review - particularly the way the kitchen and bathroom were both stocked. Just for your knowledge, we do typically have a manager...

Timber Creek is very nice. However, second year in a row we stayed at Rocky Mtn Resorts property...never again. The pool and hot tub were closed although they don't tell you that when you book it and the price wasn't any cheaper; this company is the only one I know of in CO that actually charges for firewood. There was...

Hi Kathy, thank you for your review. We are so sorry to hear that you were disappointed with your most recent stay at Timber Creek. Rocky Mountain Resorts is actually a small, privately-owned resort whose owners certainly still cares greatly about our guests' experiences. The Timber Creek office does operate out of our sister property, Fawn Valley Inn, in the...

We recently stayed in #7 Blue Columbine. It is a two bedroom, 2 bath cabin with a well equipped kitchen, lovely fireplace and comfortable beds. This cabin is dog friendly so I appreciated that my well-behaved dog was welcome here. The resort is very close to the east entrance of Rocky Mtn. Nat'l. Park and also wasn't far from the...

We stayed here during our Estes park/Rocky mountain state park vacation. Was clean and comfortable. So nice to have your own personal hot tub, washer/dryer, kitchen. We were able to enjoy meals together as a family and miss that hotel breakfast rush. We had 2 bathrooms. Was very nice for our large family. Only wish the 2nd bathroom was upstairs....

stayed in #4. The layout was good for one of their small suites. Had elk in the driveway the first morning. A limited view of the river across the road. Staff was nice and the fruit available in the office was a nice touch. Reasonable price for Estes Park. Nice access to town and park. RMNP is the true reason...

We stayed here for 3 nights. The location was just right to be far enough out of the crazy of downtown, but close enough to get everywhere within 5 minutes. The chalets are private with some units having a hot tub. We didn't opt for one. There was a gas grill and patio furniture for our unit. It was very...
