We loved our stay at Brynwood over spring break! We spent our first 3 nights in one of their vacation homes near RMNP — the cabin was so quaint and comfortable, and had amazing views from the porch. We were also there during Winter Storm Ulmer, and the owners went above and

The people at Brynwood really took care of my family. We drove 12 hours with three kids to stay in one of their facilities. Before I start with my story, the facilities are awesome, the location is great (a stone's throw from the national park) and the river was very pretty.

Brynwood had both motel rooms and cabins. We decided to opt for the cabins because of the river view. The pros: screened in porch overlooking the river, friendly helpful sfaff. The cons: the cabins needed some upkeep and cleaning. Many of the screens were broken or bent so

Dear Dan, Thank you for your review as it affords us the opportunity to improve upon our guests experience! I'm sorry to hear about all of the items that weren't clean in your cabin! I wish we had been notified during your stay and we would have sent a crew to make it right for you. Please accept my sincere apology! We have addressed all of the items you listed. Mid-October is when our peak season comes to an end and we then have the time to perform deep cleanings and fix items that need our attention. Again, I appreciate your comments and extend a sincere apology, Gayle

We spent four nights in the hotel. Although somewhat dated, the rooms were clean and comfortable. The location was great for seeing both the downtown area and the national park. The hot tub was a steamy 103 F. The pools were covered and appeared to be closed for the season. The

This was our third stay at Brynwood. I booked reservations months in advance because we love staying here, or should I say we used to love staying here. We had a motel room not a cabin and there is a little cubby with a fridge, microwave, sink and two burner stove. Upon our

Dear Carlene, First of all, I'm very sorry that you had a less than wonderful experience! It certainly wasn't our intention; we desire to give excellent service and have high cleanliness standards. Please let me address the items you've written. It seems like you must have spoken to a newer housekeeper who didn't know what to say about the screen door and therefore seems to have said what first came to mind. Due to the extremely strong winds we experience in Estes Park many of the of the screen doors have been rendered unusable. We have no plan to replace them because they are a nuisance to guests when they bang open and shut all night long. The winds in January and February can been hurricane strength. Many motels have no screen doors and we do not feel this is a necessary item to have. Understandably you've had one in the past and were expecting to have one and were disappointed. I really wish you had contacted the office and let us know that your service was less than stellar so that we would have had the opportunity to make things right for you! Once again I apologize for the lack of service because it is our desire to give excellent service to each guest. Sincerely, Gayle

are all the motel rooms the same regarding views, proximity to pool, etc.?
I think the motel rooms are actually closer to the pool, but further away from the river views. The motel is right along the main highway.

Are all the motel rooms the same as far as view, etc.?
The hotel rooms face the park and have a good view of the mountains. We stayed on the first floor and it was very quiet. In the morning, we opened the blinds and watched animals playing outside -- bunny, deer, squirrel. The pool was easy access. The do also have cozy looking cabins.

Are you pet friendly
No, I'm sorry. We advertise no pets and we're pretty strict with our policy because of the allergy issues people have. McGregor Mountain Lodge, Castle Mountain Lodge or Colorado Cottages have a few pet rooms. Thanks for your inquiry!
