We've been coming here for about 20+ years and never had a bad experience. The owners are like family and try to make everyone's visit as nice as possible. They have been gracious and very knowledgeable hosts every time! The hotel is older and a historic one with character. Definitely better the big chain places. The view is amazing as... More

Do not stay at this lodge! The room was awful...it smelled like a wet, old, dirty rug. The room said non-smoking, what a joke of a sign! Take my word, DO NOT STAY here! I can not believe this place is in operation. The price of the room was reasonable, but like the say, you get what you pay for.

This is my fourth visit to Estes and I have always stayed at the Olympus. While it's older, it's very neat and clean, the views are spectacular, and Todd will go out of his way to make sure you are comfortable. The wide porch in front of the rooms just invites you sit and relax. It's especially great to sit... More

What a great place. Owners are friendly and more than willing to do what they can to make your stay better. Fresh coffee, begals and conversation in the morning with Todd were such a wonderful change from feeling like just another dollar bill. They make you feel like you are a welcome part of their extended family. Rooms are well... More

An excellence experience in a delightful town. Very clean and spacious rooms. Beautiful view of Longs peak and panoramicscenery. Reasonable rates and pleasant staff. Would recommend any time of year. As close to Rocky Mtn. National Park as you can get, one mile from entrance. I give it two thumbs up.

"non smoking" room thick with smoke (blankets, heater, etc.). Cat food on floor, melting soap and blue goo on the floor of the shower, not to mention hair (both kinds). 1 1/2" brown stain, either fecal matter or dried blood, on middle of bottom sheet. Owner was kind (turned on lights for my late check-in) and apologetic (partial refund) but... More

My wife and I spent a most enjoyable two nights at this e3stablishment. As the owners admits, it needs a little TLC, but what a delight when we opened the door to our room (No.5). The beautiful decor, the iron bedstead, nice bed-coverings, the little lounge and BOY, what a view from our window. We've stayed in over 100 motels... More

The hotel is very old and has not had any renovation that is noticeable. There was a distinct lack of electrical outlets and no air conditioning. The shower was almost a drip. The extended continental breakfast was a joke. I think the extension was the dry cereal that was available. Coffee horrible, could not drink it: there was white bread... More

First Off I found this place on this website and by several positive feedbacks raving about Olympus Lodge, I was hooked. We were able to get a "Pet Friendly" room and I was elated! When we came into town I was shocked to find the website pictures didn't really show how the place looked. It looked run down to us.... More
