    We do have amazing employees here at the Blue Door Inn! They go above and beyond to make sure our guests feel appreciated, comfortable and at home when staying with us! To our readers please know that we did not overcharge this guest. Our employees made an honest mistake of not telling this guest about an additional cost for a room change which was an upgrade. Once the mistake was brought to our attention ... the problem was solved in favor of this guest as it should have been within one hour. We take pride in solving problems and meeting expectations. It's always discouraging when you've done all that you can to rectify a situation and you still fall short. We made an honest mistake and we did fix it as promptly as possibly. We too are human and we do make mistakes. What matters is that we did make it right! We would like to encourage our readers to take the time to read ALL of our reviews.     Let's talk about the lies you posted in my review..... I booked the original reservations three months in advance. At that time, you could not accommodate the four nights we wanted but told us to keep checking back. A few weeks later & over two months prior to our arrival, another room came available for the two nights additional nights. This was for the rate I showed you in our conformation & which you honored after I showed you your error. Do you want me to post the confirmations of this to prove it? Your lies of what happened are unfortunate. I will post these emails if needed but NEVER tell me I lied when you did not. I will never come back to your hotel because of this.
    I supplied you with my emails as proof of what occurred. Obviously your system is incorrect if I have the supporting documentation. I can forward you the exact emails if needed. You also claim someone spoke to us but that is not accurate. Again I expect you to correct your erroneous statement

    We are staying at the property in August, is there an early checkout process for people needing to leave prior to the 7am time that someone is at the front desk?
    Of course! We can check you out the night before your departure or we can email your receipt in the morning and you can leave your keys in the room.
