Check out ymcarockies.org to read about the lodging and activities here. This Y is at 8,000 ft and is surrounded on 3 sides by Rocky Mountain National Park. In the summer the Y has about as many people as the nearby town of Estes Park - about 5,000 guests & staff. It's a true outdoor experience. Many elk, deer, wild...

The scenery could not get any more beautiful. The YMCA of the Rockies does not take away from that either. There are a large number lodges and cabins which provided great space for our large group. There are a ton of activities available and many trails you can use as well. Everything was very clean. The beds weren't very comfortable...

If you are looking for a reasonably priced piece of paradise-this is the place. We had just come from a suit at a high priced Hotel in Denver costing over $300 a night, and I would rate the cleanliness higher in our wonderful cabin at the entrance of the awesome Rocky Mountain National Park. We felt safe, near convenience stores,...

We had a great stay at Wind River Lodge, YMCA of the Rockies. No TV was welcomed, as we looked out the window in the morning to see 13 elk meandering on site. The food was included in our price, which was Better than average cafeteria food. The kids enjoyed the little adventurers class and scavenger hunt. Fantastic place -...

We stayed here for a Wedding and the cost was more than local hotels. I realize that this is suppose to be a "YMCA" Resort. There were also lots of conference when we were there. The rooms are what you would expect in a rustic cabin and we did opt not to share a bathroom. It Its a great place...

I've been here a bunch of times over the years speaking at a conference held here annually. It's inspiring and lovely and worth going to. Except the food is horrible. Consistently horrible. So if you go here, make sure you bring snacks, can sneak away to Estes Park (a few miles away), or rent a cabin with a fridge. Because...

Our friends had their wedding reception in a large cabin. We booked our room online with the hope of being put into a cabin near the reception site. It turned out that because of the layout of the YMCA that would not be possible. I think that worked out for the best, actually. The complex is very large but the...

We stayed in a three bedroom cabin with two other couples on a ski trip to Winter Park. It was nice to be able to Hang out together in the evening, but still put our kids to bed in the bedroom. We were able to make our meals there to save some money and the location was very nice to...

My husband and I stayed in a two bedroom cabin with a fireplace. The name of our cabin was The Ozark. It had a full kitchen (except dishwasher) and even had stuff like a coffee pot, toaster, and tea kettle. I wish we knew about how large the kitchen was because we would have brought more food to cook and...

I stayed here recently for a group conference and the accommodations were very nice. The entire YMCA complex is very large! The room was a basic hotel room with no TV, no microwave or fridge, but we didn't really need those items, although a small fridge is always nice for bottles of water at that elevation. The room was a...
