The jets in the tub are black with grime. Someone else’s garbage is behind the nightstand. It’s extremely plain and dated for the price compared to other hotels. Check in was good. This place needs a major renovate to justify the price
Pros: Fantastic view, right on the ocean, quiet room, comfortable bed, clean room, large dining room & lobby area -great views. Walking trails right along the water to the lighthouse and coastal areas. Perfect location for visiting the Redwoods.

Someone may have used the word "strange" because this is not a cookie cutter hotel like a new Hampton Inn Or Holiday Express that looks the same whether you are in New York or California. It is not the newest or prettiest... More
