This was one of the better KOAs we have stayed at. Our site (tent) was right in the Redwoods and we very much enjoyed the setting. The bathrooms were heavily used, so at times got dirty. The firewood was expensive. The location was great. The people were friendly. Overall, we were pleased and if in the area would stay again.

Some of the cabin and tent sites are pretty nice, Rv sites are a trailer court at best. Some what of a crap shoot if you will get a good or bad tent or cabin site. We had someone in a cabin site next to us and they didn't last 20 minutes. Not sure why. Right next to highway 191...

Beyond nice. Great fenced in dog area as well as nice paths in campground. Restrooms were clean. Great separation with trees between most of the sites. Cabins & tent spaces were booked full as well as Rv sites. Also have Deluxe Rv sites with swing gliders & concrete patios. Pancake breakfast for $3.50 sat & sun & tues & thirs....

We spent a long weekend here while visiting the state and national redwood parks. We spent the extra money to have the deluxe site with patio, swing and fire pit with grill. It was more roomy and private than the other sites. We cooked on it (it was sparkling clean!) We bought "goat grub" to feed the resident goats and...

This was our second visit, based on our first successful visit years ago. Be sure to ask for a campsite in the Redwoods if you're staying in a tent. Front desk was helpful, bathrooms were kept very clean, and we were quite happy with our camping experience at the Crescent City KOA. The campsite quiet hours are observed greatly appreciated...

Beautiful KOA. Stayed in cabin nestled in trees. Pancake breakfast in morning too expensive but the campground is gorgeous and the staff is friendly enough. Bathrooms clean. KOA's tend to lack atmosphere b/c their popularity rests in consistency and predictability but this KOA is special because of the location to the trees.

My husband and I rented a rustic cabin in this campground just outside of Crescent City, California. We planned our first visit to the Redwood National Park in northern California. Our time in the campground was remarkable. The cabin was clean and bright. The shared bathrooms and showers were also very clean, and the showers afforded a comfortable degree of...

Front desk staff was super friendly and helpful when we first arrived. Campsite was gorgeous with tiny flowers growing through the grass. We were close to the dog park, which we liked since we got to meet other dogs and missed our pup we left at home! The fire pit is really great, enough rungs to cook a few burgers...

I've been to a few KOA in the west of the US and this is one of my favourites. If the weather conditions allow we stay in a tent and the campgrounds are right under trees - secure from sun but also rain. The staff was friendly and recommended a hiking trail which perfectly suited to us (3hrs, not too...

This was my wife and my first time at KOA campground and it was absolutely wonderful! Because it as the off season we had the pick of the park as to where we wanted to camp. We chose, at the encouragement of the staff, a spot in an incredible grove of Redwood trees. Why else do you go to the...
