We got more than we bargained for with this motel. The rooms were exceptionally clean and comfortable, with a great bathroom and shower. There was an incredibly friendly woman working the front desk who made us feel instantly welcome. But the real star of the show is the ocean. It was amazing to leave the windows open and just listen... More

This is a motel that the pure pleasure is when you step out of your room door you are 15 feet from the beach along with a spectacular ocean view! Leave your window or sliding door open and you can hear the 🌊🌊🌊🌊! Not a lot of amenities but you don't need them. Staff is pleasant and friendly. A bit... More

We needed a hotel to stay in to visit Redwoods National Park. We decided on this one because we did not have any other ocean front hotels in our two week itinerary. Check in was very matter of fact and not very welcoming. Not rude. Just not friendly. The room was suitable. It was clean but the bedding was uncomfortable.... More

Nice little motel right on the beach. Clean and comfortable, walls a bit thin (bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper - you will hear your neighbors). Close to Jed Smith Redwoods, Battery Point Lighthouse, and amenities. Each room has sliding glass doors that open to a deck on the beach. We saw a whole herd of elk come out... More

It's an average older hotel that needs some updating. The hotel was clean, and it was quiet, all we heard was the roar of the ocean. Had some wine and enjoyed the view. The next day we went for a hike in the redwoods

On tour of Oregon, popped down to Crescent City to ogle redwoods. This motel was inexpensive, clean, on the beach and near points of interest and restaurants. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable of local history. Will return.

Clean, quiet, comfortable. We had two connecting rooms for a family of six. Fun to go right out to the beach. We found lots of sand dollars. We really enjoyed the "breakfast room," in the morning and on the cool evenings.

Stayed here on our way up the coast. The motel is directly on the beach with easy access. The motel is clean, the rooms tidy and the beds the most comfortable so far on our trip. This place is about 1 mile outside of town, on the direct 101, but once inside our rooms, it was fairly quiet. Hot drinks... More

Our second time to Crescent Beach Motel. It's clean, good shower and comfortable bed. Motel is older and not fancy, but the beach location makes it worth the price. How many motels can you walk thru your private sliding glass door right onto the beach? The Seagulls are there too

It's just as others have reviewed: dated, but clean. It's not a place where you enjoy the room, but the ocean is, literally, steps from the sliding door! Quiet. Peaceful deck with clean chairs for enjoying the view. Big down side though....while rooms are non-smoking, deck is a smokers' zone. We could not leave our slider open or sit outside... More
