As others have noted, this is not a typical HIE property as it must have been converted from another hotel. It is a two floor square with a central outdoor courtyard and rooms either facing the courtyard or towards the streets. All outside stairs and room access. The room was standard fare and was fine for a night - comfortable...

Hyatt Park Place Uptown sold out. Web reviews of HIE looked OK so we took a chance. Big mistake. Dec 16 check in during cold spell. Sort of a Bates motel "homeyness." Room AC/heater could not be controlled...just kept getting hotter and hotter or colder and colder depending on selection. No Auto setting. Called Maintenance ... couldn't fix it. Spent...

Stayed 2 nights on business. I don't usually stay at hotels with outside door to parking lot as a single female traveler, but this was okay. Back window with curtain looks over to indoor pool area which is a clever feature. Fairly convenient location. Next to shopping and local restaurants. Beds were average, but clean.

This hotel was close to my in-laws for a 4 night stay. The front desk was friendly, professional, and helpful. Daily breakfast had the good variety we've come to expect at HIE. We are Platinum Elite members, and were upgraded to a suite. Yay! The room was spacious and clean, although the bed was quite soft. Two items to bring...

It is a good hotel with very nice staff. I only stayed one night here but I remember that at first I was surprised that it look like a motel (2 floors with room doors going to outside veranda not inside corridor). But again, very nice staff, let me stay longer and help me with the business room (printing needs...

We had a two night stay here on our Route 66 trip and found it very clean and the staff extremely helpful, especially when we had trouble with the washer n the laundry room!!! Complimentary breakfast is more than adequate and the food is hot and fresh. It's location is excellent for most attractions , only 15 minutes to the...

This hotel was super clean and allowed our pet for small pet fee. My son enjoyed the pool and we appreciated the coffee set up and nice finishes in the bathroom area. The Owl restaurant right next door was awesome! Loved Albuquerque and this hotel was a great choice for us!

My family and I stayed here while traveling through Albuquerque. The hotel is well equipped, clean, well run, and is in a great location. We were very close to Old Town and some very good restaurants. Booking was easy and checking in was quick and efficient. I will stay here again the next time I am in Albuquerque.

Was in ABQ for 10 days visiting my daughter and again stayed at this Holiday Inn. It is only 5 to 10 minutes from my daughter's place; is off Lomas which is a great road to use to cross town; is on Eubank which has a number of restaurants and other businesses including 3 within very short walking distance; has...

Pros: convenient I-40 access, easy check-in, booked room from the road without issue, fenced property with security, comfortable beds with firm and soft pillows to choose from, mini-fridge, tasty breakfast with many options including pancake "printer" machine that makes and delivers hot pancakes in 2 minutes, recently renovated property. Cons: if there was an elevator we didn't see it, air...
