I'd like to give 4 stars but the interior is dated. Great deal with free airport shuttle and breakfast. Staff are friendly and helpful. Convenient to grocery store and restaurants. Room needs updating from 80s. I'd stay again.

I stayed here while on a family vacation last summer with my mother, in her nineties, and my teenaged daughter. When the staff saw our family, they were immediately accomodating, giving us a small 'suite' of two rooms with a kitchen on the first floor that was perfect for us, and for an incredible price. The rooms were spacious and...

Ramshackle is one word that comes to mind for this establishment. I don't mean to imply that it is run down or un-loved, just that it has some quirky, slapdash construction as it has seen remodels over the ages. A house cat could get down the hall without creaking the floors but not much else. The building is worth two...

This hotel is ideal as it is a few minutes walk from the Creek Shopping centre with many places nearby for eating although the hotel included a hot cooked breakfast in the price a little bonus as the hotel was reasonably priced for the location. Free parking as well although not a lot of room to manouver.

I saw this gem here on trip advisor. The price was very good, included a cooked to order breakfast. The parking is tricky, I recommend no car bigger than a min van or like sized SUV. She is an older hotel, but she has class. You can tell it is a labor of love if you know what to look...

If you want a hotel that is located near the Temple area this place is your best bet. Rooms are big with two bedrooms with three beds. The underground parking can be tricky in entering and leaving. There are not many spaces available. Book early. Breakfast is free but if you want eggs etc then you order from the menu....

It is easy to see the generations of Carlton charm, from the original 1920s through its 20th century remodels. The rooms are big enough for sleeping, relaxing, and work. Friendly and knowledgeable staff, from the airport shuttle driver, to the lobby personnel, to the building staff. The amenities range from late 1990s to more modern conveniences. The included cooked-to-order breakfast...

I have been staying at Carlton Hotel for several years, each year several times, for 2 nights at a time, and it's a home away from home. I've always enjoyed the friendly service and the well maintained historic rooms, many are large and some of them suites. The rooms are clean and well kept. The breakfast to order is a...

I am hesitant to even publish this review because I really like the people who own and operate this hotel. I have stayed there multiple times over the past several years. I always return because of the friendly employees, awesome Temple Square/City Creek Center location, free local shuttle, and affordable rates. The hotel was never fancy. The decor is dated,...

The Carlton is rather ancient. Rooms are worn, but clean. Hosts very pleasant. Weekly price can't be beat. Free shuttle. No iron or hairdryer in room, but I think you can request them from desk. The property next door is also owned by the hotel. It is terribly run down and seems to serve as some sort of halfway house....
