We had a cheer competition at the Salt Palace and this hotel is only a short 2 min walk. The room was clean and the kitchenette was MUCH larger than we expected. It was perfect for our needs. The girl at the front desk was very friendly, attentive and helpful. During breakfast

This is not a five star hotel but it does a great job of being a thoroughly functional pleasure travel spot; it would be less effective on a work trip because it lacks a desk area. Location is great, just a few blocks from the center of downtown which means it is less than 10

Excellent service, great location for our needs and a very nice stay. Great breakfast! Clean rooms, quiet in nature, guests services in the lobby were great, parking is covered. If you are accessing downtown SLC or the surrounding area, this is a great stop. Would highly

I stay here often since they are a preferred hotel for my company's business travel while in SLC. The location is good and the stay is enjoyable each time. They occasionally give bottled water at check-in (as well as cucumber water available in the lobby) which I appreciate. The

Our first time at this hotel. We arrived early and the front desk graciously placed us in an upgraded room. The hotel is modern and nicely maintained. Room was spotless and breakfast was exceptional with made to order omelettes. We will definitely stay here again.

I recall good choices but not totally versed on Vegan diet. Potatoes, rolls, cold cereal, oatmeal, yogurt, toast etc... I would think that the omelette chef would grill up any of the things like onions, peppers, and olives for you as well just without the eggs. Of course there is milk, juice, and coffee.

Yes, our pool is outdoor and open year round. There is also a heated pool deck to ensure comfort and safety on those chilly winter evenings. We keep the pool at 85 degrees in the winter, so come and enjoy!

We took the train from the airport. It was only a few dollars. I think it was about a 10-15 ride. We walked A LOT to the downtown structures and around the area so we got pretty tired and ended up taking the train into downtown for dinner after we'd walked all day in the heat. I wore flip flops and if I could offer advice it'd be to wear tennis shoes. Since the hotel is within the 'blue line' the train from the nearby stop (area station) is free to ride through downtown. My biggest compliant is the pan handling. We experienced it far more in the downtown area than in close proximity to the hotel. I think the panhandlers stay away from the location of the hotel becaus there's not a lot of people around. There weren't any events at the arena, which is across the street, so that wasn't an issue for us. Possibly more panhandling if there are events. The neighborhood is going through a lot of renovation for modern buildings; however, we did not notice any construction noise. I thought the location was perfect. Just pack comfortable walking shoes as flip flops don't cut it!
