This was our first trip to Salt Lake City for a convention and my husband and I booked the Ellerbeck Mansion because of the location. We didn't really know what to expect but had just come off a trip from Europe staying at many beautiful B&B's so we kept with our theme. I must say, we were very happy we... More

Our 4 day stay began poorly. We arrived to check in at a locked establishment where no one answered the doorbell, nor 2 phone calls. Finally, the innkeeper realized we were there after a 10 minute wait on the porch. Our first floor room was spacious and nicely decorated, but lacked some of the necessities of today's life. For example,... More

My husband and I stayed here for one night. The house is beautiful, rooms are spacious and very comfortable. The innkeepers are very friendly, were flexible with our late arrival time, and breakfast was delicious. We would happily stay here again!

Nicely appointed rooms, all with queen beds. Some antiques, comforters, period pieces throughout. Our room had en-suite bath but not all rooms have this. Was not able to stay for breakfast so can not comment on that. House was cold but we finally found thermostat and turned on heat. It was needed, especially in our bathroom.

This was our last stop on our road trip. The mansion is lovely and spacious. We stayed in the "Winter Dreams" room, It was large with a beautiful king size canopy bed. The room was beautiful and right next to the front door. Our bathroom was a walk from the room. The shower took a long time to warm up... More

Nice history. Stained toilet seat and mold in the bathroom. The breakfast was worse than La Quinta. I will stay at the Hyatt from now on. Management was kind and attentive. Rooms lacked privacy. The television was a big tease because you could only get a couple of local channels

This place is extremely ornate and luxurious. My wife and I were thrilled with all of the little details that the owners have put into this mansion. The hot breakfast was excellent, and could be compared to any fancy restaurant we've been to. Excellent menu.

I spent 2 nights at the Ellerbeck Mansion - it was delightful! The host/owner was very gracious - the rooms lovely. I also took advantage of having a massage booked by the host/owner - and it was one of the best massages I have ever had - and in the convenience of my room! Great location in the charming avenues... If I could provide a rating less than one star......I would. I was looking forward to my stay in January (which happened to overlap a tradeshow in town). I had booked my room online three weeks prior to my stay, and with just over a week before my stay, they had called and left a message that they had an... More

Unfortunately this person never made a reservation with us. We sent him the quote but he never took the final step and booked it. When he showed up at the door, we explained that we didn't have a reservation for him and we showed him that he didn't ever click on "book it". He admitted his mistake and was apologetic,... More

Every year for our anniversary we stay in a different bed & breakfast in the Salt Lake/Odgen area. This year we chose the Ellerbeck Mansion. We stayed in the Autumn Winds suite which is upstairs and appears to be the largest suite on the 2nd floor. The room is fairly large and spacious and has an attached 1/2 bath (shower... More
