Enjoy your stay in Port Angeles!
We selected this Inn because it is close to the port. Our room was reasonably clean and housekeeping made sure we had fresh towels and soap each day of our visit. The bathroom was a bit small with a slightly larger than 3' x 3' shower stall. The motel is right on the main road going into Port Angeles and is not difficult to find. While our first two nights at this motel weren't too bad (just loud occupants above from about 10 pm to 11 pm), our third and last night was horrible. We were in a ground level apartment and the couples above us had a late night party, bumping and thumping on the floor and talking loudly. At 2 am they woke us up with their squeaky bed and the ensuing shower. When we approached the staff in the morning, they informed us that there are no refunds or…
If you have a choice of where to stay in Port Angeles, skip this hotel! I am not a picky hotel person but this was disappointing because the window screen was torn, the room smelled like a terrible cleaning chemical (but due to the torn screen we couldn't keep the window open), some of the light bulbs were out, the shower drain didn't work (you had to hold it with your foot while showering otherwise you found yourself taking a bath), the walls were stained and dirty, and the comforters and furniture felt outdated. The walls are thin so we heard everything in the room next to us and from the busy street. We left early so we just did a key drop and didn't report these things to management. I would not recommend staying here. There are other options if you want to be near the ferry!
This place is excellent and it’s very well maintained and clean. It’s on a good location and the walking distance to ferry is just few minutes. The staff is excellent and very friendly. I went with my family and wasn’t dissapointed. The prices are very reasonable as well. I would recommend this place to all who are going for a vacation.
They say NO ANIMALS, but I’m sure there was a chunk of dog poop in the corner of the room........eeeeeeek! Placed it outside & pray it wasn’t. Too tired to change Motels now. Parking outside rooms for easy access. Wheelchair accessible but low toilets. Two queen beds, newly painted room, Not bad for $60.00. Close to Coho Ferry terminal & local restaurants.
I would not trust the cleanliness of this place. The shower had black mold growing in all four corners and along all the seams of the shower. We were appalled with the how clean it was and the unwillingness for the owner to do anything about it.
This was a comfortable place to stay in a very good location. However it is a little tired and dated. The rooms were clean, bedlinen clean, but it was all a bit old. The shower room was all plastic and needs updating. Microwave & Fridge but no coffee making facilities in room, This was in reception.
"hot" as is plastic cover on matters. miserable. no air conditioning. so your uncomfortable sleep is not bad enough...so take advantage of the loud. truck noise from the road right next to the hotel by opening your window to ventilate the room.
The room was clean and big enough for us to have 3 suitcases open. The room has a mini fridge and a microwave. The bathroom is small but it's well-functioned with basic toiletries like shampoo and soap. The water pressure can be really weak when there are other guests taking showers at the same time. The front desk people accidentally overcharged us, but we solved the issue quickly. The room has no aircondetioner, so we had to sleep with the windows open because of the heat. It was uncomfortable and noisy because you can hear loud trucks driving by all night long and very early in the morning.
The hotel room was very comfortable. They even had a standing fan to cool off the heat during summer. The room had lots of utilities and TV had more number of channels and kept my son engaged. For the size of the room, it had many utility spaces available like working table with swiveling chair and separate platform for dining. The hotel was little expensive, when i booked. It was close to $100+ dollars. May be it was due to August end with long weekend approaching.
This property is a bit dated and rough around the edges, but it is a decent choice if you just need a place to sleep the night before taking the ferry to Victoria or while touring the Olympic National Park. As is the case with Port Angeles hotels during peak season, it was overpriced for what we got. We did get upgraded to a King room which was well equipped with a refrigerator, microwave and flat screen TV. The internet worked well and was reasonably fast. The bed was decent and there were lots of pillow options. Fortunately, the heat wave had ended when we stayed since there is no air conditioning. We did have 2 stand fans and the sliding glass door could be opened to let in some cool air. Extreme heat is somewhat rare here but it does happen so not the best choice if…
