This hotel room was comfortable and very clean for the price point. You could pay 200 a night and not get a room this clean. We would definitely stay again. The breakfast and check in is across the street, once you get around the confusion about where to check in it’s a nice place. Good price and friendly staff. No complaints here!
This hotel was clean and comfortable. We stayed 5 nights. The harbor view was beautiful out our window with mountains in the front of the hotel. I have one complaint. The area did not feel safe. There was blatent drug use all around. I was offered drugs walking to the pier. While the hotel was great, the area around was not.
The hotel is older but clean and comfortable. It was an easy walk to the downtown area for dinner. It had a nice harbor view and was a short drive to the Hurricane Ridge area of Olympic National park. Perfect for our needs.
Room was clean, in convenient location—just a block away from restaurants downtown (Bella Italia). Could use a bit of updates, to help justify the high rate I was charged. Place does have an elevator. No breakfast available (at least, not at this time).
This hotel is over priced for what you get. The first room we were put in smelled so awful my children were sitting in the car watching tv. The next room we were put in was icky and the sink was clogged. The women working there were not helpful instead they bad mouthed each other to me. I do not recommend staying here.
They jack the price way up in the summer when most people visit. The hotel was alright it had all the basic ammenities but it was noisey could hear people talking/clock chimming, and no breakfast in the morning. I have never paid so much money without a continental breakfast, I expect more when I pay $200 a night.
This is one of our favorite hotels. If you choose to pay a little extra the view from some of the rooms of the Juan de Fuca Straits are exceptional. The hotel sits up on the hill above Port Angeles. We like to watch the ships and a bit of the sunset and sunrise since it faces North. Then when you go out of your room you see the Olympic Mountains often snow capped peaks to the south. We have stayed here for years. It is simple, clean and the owners and people who work here are gracious and kind.
We stayed here while visiting Olympic National Park. Very close to the entrance. We had a room with a view of Victoria Canada and the wharf. The room was a little dated but the bed was very comfortable and had lots of nice pillows, which I like. We were walking distance to Safeway and lots of restaurants. The hotel owner was very helpful with park suggestions and gave us a map. The visitors center was closed because of Covid. The price was very reasonable and I would definitely stay there again. My husband opened the windows for a while but it does get noisy because of the main road just below the hotel.
We saw Orcas from our window! Simple, but comfortable and clean. Shannon earned the fifth star, providing wine glasses, wine opener, and quickly fixing a problem with the hot water. Nice restaurants in walking distance, and easy access to the national park.
The rooms here are your basic, good motel-type accommodations. The water view rooms are of course more expensive, but they have unbroken views of the Strait of Juan de Fuca, lots of maritime traffic, and, if the weather cooperates, you can see across to Vancouver Island and Victoria. Really, you can park your car on the property and not move it again until you leave because downtown Port Angeles is right below the property and easily walked to via a long, municipal stairway adjacent to the property. Lots of dining options and things to do downtown. (Note, it is a long stairway, so it's a good climb back, or a bit of hill climb if you choose to use streets instead of the stairs returning.) Very fair price for the time of year I was traveling (winter). Friendly staff, well-versed in dining recommendations.…
