One night stay as solo traveler was wonderful. Older property but lovingly cared for (note the potted plants scattered around, carefully watered and tended). Hosts are very friendly and gracious in their hospitality--lots of clean linens, ample coffee supplies and simple toiletries in the immaculate room. Many thoughtful touches (example: room key comes with bottle opener, great for popping top of a craft brew from your cooler). High speed internet worked well. Good dining options nearby (check out the Chinese food at Tendy's Garden). Looking forward to my next visit!
Great little spot…actually the room we had was a large room. Very comfortable beds. Lots of towels. Bottles of water left for us. Super clean. 50+ inch TV and fast wifi. Sophie was wonderful. Very welcoming and fun :) NO complaints! Highly recommended.
We enjoyed staying at this little place. We had reserved two queen beds and got more than we bargained for. I entered Room #3 and saw not one room, but four rooms—kitchen, two bedrooms, and bathroom. I recommend this place for a family of four. What’s good: Old school feel, like being sent back in time. Spacious rooms with large closets. Paintings of mountain scenery on the walls. Convenient location. Lots of places to plug in electronics. Huge TV. Nice owners, a Chinese couple who gave us maps and told us about places to eat. Well maintained. What’s not good: Small parking area with tight parking. Paper thin towels, needed two to dry off.
We were looking for a place to just spend one night. So surprise to find that the place, though looks old, but very clean. The owners were so helpful in accommodating our request. They even provided Laundry soap for free (of course we had to pay for the washer and dryer). Big TV with tons of programs. Really a great place to stay for people on budget. Would surely return to this motel and recommend it to anybody.
The location of this hotel is just perfect for us. So surprise to find that the room is very clean. The owners have also been very accommodating to our requests. The room has big TV with lots of available programs. For the price, this is perhaps the best motel in Washington State.
After having spent way too much money for an overnight stay elsewhere on the Olympic Peninsula, by the time we arrived at Port Angeles we wanted to be more reasonable. We chose the Angeles Motel based on other reviews -- and kind of caught our breath when we pulled up. It looked on the old side and kind of tired. But the on-site owners were charming as could be and while not fancy, our room -- clean and complete with a small refrigerator and microwave and huge TV, was more comfortable than the $380 room we had a few nights earlier alongside Lake Quinault. We couldn't have been happier, especially because the price was reasonable too. Would we return? Yup!
We were a little unsure when we pulled into the parking lot, but the owner was very friendly and the rooms were clean and well kept. A nice family place. Great accommodations for the price. Would definitely recommend.
This is a nice older motel. It is clean and comfortable with a large room. Includes full size fridge and a microwave. Plenty of hot water, towels, soap and shampoo. Amazing wifi. Large tv with many channels. The staff were very friendly. Had a coffee maker with plenty of coffee and bottled water. They've thought of a lot of details to make your stay. Lots of hangers and 2 suitcase stands as an example. The price was great. We would definitely stay here again.
My family stayed at the Angeles Motel during a trip to Port Angeles and Olympic National Park. The motel is very clean and is well kept. The furnishings are relatively new and in good condition, even though the hotel was older. One could tell that the bathroom features were old and have not been replaced. It was fine for a one night stay (late arrival, early departure). There is no breakfast on site.
From the outside this motel doesn’t look like much. A 60’s era horseshoe shape but clean and well maintained. Front desk person was very welcoming and helpful. Room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the fastest wifi we’ve ever had in a motel. Ran a speed test, it was 236 Mbps. Very impressive. Highly recommended.
