Stayed one night and was happy to leave. The room had no A/C, only a fan in the window. No soundproofing whatsoever and plenty of noise from the street. There was an armchair but no desk. Dated decor. Room amenities included coffee maker, microwave and a leaky refrigerator. All appliances, lamps, etc. were plugged into loose power cord extensions. Overall comfortable bed and pillows. Very low water pressure in the sink - slightly more than a trickle. The shower had good water pressure, but the shower head was missing and the water temperature was difficult to adjust because the water knob was broken. The wifi was so slow (0.34 Mbs!) to be essentially unusable; it also disconnected every few minutes. I notified the front desk but they dismissed my concerns and told me to wait. I did, but it didn't get any better. The price was above average for a basic motel room, but the quality well below average.…
Debris under the bed sheets, bathroom dirty and smelled heavily of urine. Sketchy people living there and the owner/manager is extremely rude. No A/C, gross dusty fans in the window. Very outdated. This motel is not being managed properly. Find another motel. Trust me!
That is what I told myself when I got to the room.... The check in was very nice. The staff was friendly and even remembered me from our conversation the day before. The parking lot was clean and ready to access. When I got into the room I was glad to see a large refrigerator and microwave, but the aging decor and furniture made me nervous. The bed was AWFUL. As I lay awake most of the night, I just kept saying it's just one night.... The pillows are hard and lumpy. The bed felt like sleeping on a slab and the sheets were threadbare... You can actually see through them. Then an early riser for the ferry came with a horrific shock... The shower is broken... There is no way to change the water temperature... Cold doesn't describe the shower... Think mountain water snow melt. There is also no shower head... So it was a misty cold nightmare. There only positive... It was just for one night. At $200 per night... There are major changes that should happen here…
When we stayed at this hotel, the room smelled like cigarettes. It was a non-smoking room, and smelled terrible. The bathroom reeked of mildew and the shower was absolutely horrific. The beds were dirty and hard and the floor wasn't very clean either. When we called them, the man who answered was extremely rude. He interrupted us constantly and yelled at us. Then he hung up without saying anything. I beg everyone who wants to come here to reconsider. This is literally the WORST MOTEL EVER. The room was definitely overpriced for what it was worth to stay at.
At check in I asked for 2 extra coffees and sugar. I was given coffee no cream and sugar. She seemed annoyed with request. We were exhausted from driving all day. Room smelled musty and like bad body oder. Door and walls stained. Hole in shower wall. Carpet fringed and room was cramped. But to top it all off the dark colored accent pillow had white stains from well I can only guess …… it was loud and drunk locals or guests fighting in parking lot !!! Do not recommend!!! I would like a refund !
The room was all right, it's older. The bed was hard. The water adjustments in the tub/shower were reversed (room 233) and the shower head was about 2" diameter with good pressure. Like pressure wash, touch lightly.
My family and I have stayed here twice now. Once last year, and it was great. We had a room upstairs with a twin bed and a queen bed on the top floor. Quiet, and relaxing. This time around, we stayed for about a week upstairs in the room with two kings. Had a mountain view both times. The owner is very kind! Made sure that we had enough toiletries when I came down to add a 6th night. We will be coming back whenever we can and REALLY wish that we didn't have to leave tomorrow. We're locals and just come here to visit this beautiful area, will not think twice when booking with Flagstone Motel.
We stayed here one night in Port Angeles and were very happy with our room. The room was spacious, attractively decorated, quiet, and the bed was comfortable. It had the usual amenities of microwave, refrigerator, and coffee maker. The bathroom was clean and large and the tub/shower had plenty of hot water. The hotel is close to several restaurants on the water within easy walking distance. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Spent one night at the Flagstone Motel on a recent trip to Washington. We kind of looked around Port Angeles for a motel, and even though it was not the first choice, we felt the price was good for a double room. Manager and front desk clerk were friendly at check-in. We asked to see a room and then were shown two, with different configuration for us to choose from. We choose one on the bottom floor that was under the staircase, and though it was dark, it worked for us. The room was dated, but overall seemed clean. It had one chair whose fabric had seen better days, and also one desk chair. Bed was not the most comfortable, but not the worse on our trip. No breakfast, but there was fast food in the area.
We requested a quiet room and received one on the top (second) floor away from traffic. While an older hotel, the room was pleasantly clean and the two king beds were comfy. Victor was extremely helpful in guiding us to points of interest nearby (a challenge in this COVID time) and was very accommodating to any questions we had. Imagine my surprise when I received a call from Victor saying my Kindle had been left in the room! We set up a UPS delivery and I received my Kindle in a few days! I am so very grateful and indeed will recommend them to any on a tight budget needing to stay in Pt. Angeles. Plus, they are only a block from the port! Great for walking to any restaurants in the area! Thank you Victor!
