This place had by far one of the nicest people on the phone when I was calling around to find out about availability, pricing and general information about places to stay in Franz Josef, New Zealand. Not only was the booking a breeze and we could have cancelled up until 48 hours before the actual booked arrival time with refund...

Stopover here on was down west coast to Queenstown. Motel was for 4 with a king bed, single and roll-out. Small kitchenette and single bathroom. Wasn't a lot of room when roll-up was up but beds comfortable for sleeping. Close walk to restaurants and to book local tours.

Good clean hotel. The king sized bed was comfortable. Quiet location, walking distance to restaurants and cafes. Small kitchenette. Free Wi-Fi. Parking outside the door. Family of four stayed but the boys had to flip a coin as the roll out bed didn't look that comfortable. Would still recommend.

Rooms are quite big, got an upgrade when checking in and motel us in the city center. Forget about any view as you are looking onto the car park. Free Wi-Fi included. Only disturbing thing was a light smell in the room.

The rooms are spacious and very clean. Both of our rooms had magnificent views of Franz Josef glacier. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The location is great, just a short walk to the main street of Franz. We'd definitely stay there again!

Clean sheets and bathroom, it smelt like freshly cleaned with bleach (at least I know it's been cleaned!). The room we were in had the car parked alongside the glass door and was partially sheltered. We got what we expected and a good night's rest.

Room has microwave and fridge and kitchen area within reaching distance of bed. Only one chair and one armchair. Only shelf in bathroom is in shower. Realty very different from web photos. But due to little accommodation in area it has to be acceptable.

Thank Sandra B
