Amazing place. Warm welcome, great view, fantastic breakfast and aperitifs with the hosts in the evening. Perfect. Walking distance to restaurants, bars and cafes. Very close to facilities for the Glacier

Arrived around 4pm and was greeted by a happy Styze. He showed me to me room, invited me for a glass of wine in the evening, and gave me recommendations on food and activities in town. The room was clean and charming with a slide out door that opened up to a view of the mountains. The peaks were misty...

We really enjoyed staying here, as we were on our honeymoon they gave us the honeymoon suite which is the biggest room they have and it was very comfortable. Right from the bed with warmers to the big heating lamps in the bathroom to the hot tub!! Well we feel cold everywhere so all this was bonus for us. The...

We've stayed 2 nights. Its definitely too expensive for what it offers. The bed was uncomfortable and the bathroom too small! The breakfast was ok, however simple and without cappuccino (no expresso machine). The best thing is the 6pm glass of wine offer with some cheese to all guests in the leaving room where you have a small chat with...

I had made the reservation via Booking.Com/Agoda securing the booking with my AMEX card. On arrival we were met by a very anxious Janny who was much more concerned about the fact she didn’t take AMEX than actually greeting us! Once that was cleared up by giving her another credit card we were then bombarded with things we ‘must’ do...

This is such a clean and comfortable b&b run by a Dutch couple. The room is spacious, has a comfortable bed, high quality toiletries and even USB outlets! We booked a b&b as we were hoping to meet other travellers over evening drinks and breakfast. The advertised drinks and nibbles were not organised, because as the host explained it was...

After the drive from Christchurch we arrived slightly worse for wear but were immediately welcomed in and offered a glass of wine and a cheese platter to share. Conversation immediately took our minds off the travel and focussed them on all the wonderful things Fox Glacier has to offer. Our room was huge and brilliantly well appointed with the super...

Room very clean and comfortable. However, no cheeseboard, no complimentary wine and very limited wifi. I got the feeling the host was not happy with how we had booked the room - she kept repeating that she did not get the money until after we had stayed. This was entirely a matter for her and her booking company and I...

Beautiful room, comfortable and warm. Friendly hostess Alanah, helped with local knowledge on things to see and do. Great breakfast before heading off on our journey. Great views of the glazier peaks.

Stayed here for one night in the Gillespie Suite. The room was nice and cosy. The toilet looked newly furnished and the shower head had a strong water pressure which is great. The owner Sytze was a friendly host and he made us a delicious breakfast. We like the warm and lovely decor of the living room and kitchen.
