This easily accessible bed and breakfast was a great base for wine tasting providing a huge range of cycles to use to get around. It was easy to find and not far from the intercity bus stop for those travelling from Picton by bus. We had a tremendously warm reception and our hosts were fabulous. Nothing was too much trouble....

We stayed 2 night and I wish every place we stayed in NZ were like it. The home made jams are something else! DELICIOUS! Another highlight was going out to explore the wine region on a tandem bike - what an experience. Really friendly hosts. Highly recommend

We stayed here for two nights while wine tasting. You couldn't ask for a better location to bike to various wineries. Diane and Robert provide you with complimentary bikes and helmets to bike to wineries (just a 15 minute or so bike ride from the furthest one we went to), along with a map of the area, which was great....

We had a wonderful 3 night stay with Robert and Dianne. They were great hosts, allowing us to do our own thing but providing local advise when needed. The free bikes were a great addition and wonderful way to explore the local area and vineyards. When we were there the garden was in full bloom and you could smell the...

Wow, where do I start?!? What a great experience. Room was spotless, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was above and beyond with several homemade/homegrown items (jams, muesli, fruits) to choose from. Received a map and great suggestions for my wine tour also multiple dinner recommendations. Wish I could have stayed longer!

Warm welcome from the hosts made us feel homely straight away. Cozy room, very clean and tidy and very comfortable bed with electric blankets, well needed during our stay. Breakfast a plenty, with home made yummy jams from the landlady. Good chat around the breakfast table with other guests and the hostess. Very enjoyable stay.

We had a lovely couple of days staying in Robert and Diane's B&B. The bed was unbelievably comfy, and the continental breakfast was amazing! Nothing was too much trouble for them. They came to pick us up from the ferry because it was delayed so we missed our bus, and they helped us work out a route for visiting wineries...

We stayed here for one night at the start of our road trip around the South Island. Robert was hosting alone as his wife was away in Auckland and we cannot thank him enough for how accommodating he was and how much we enjoyed the stay. We took full advantage of the free bike hire and had a great day...
