My friend and I stayed in Watson's Way while touring the vineyards for a few days in Nov. Absolutely amazing stay, owned by the most lovely and welcoming couple. We felt immediately at home and their place was an excellent base from which to tour the Renwick vineyards. We stayed in double en suite- very clean, good sized room with...

Great hostel accommodation, perfectly located for touring the famous Marlborough wine region. The place is owned by a charming elderly couple who take great pride in running the place - the original site was built by the landlord's father in the early 1950s. We stayed in a good, functional ensuite room, with TV and storage space. There is a clean...

We loved the place! It feels like home and everything is complete. It's like staying in a decent motel with a backpacker's price (that is if you're sleeping in the car). It's a perfect start to do the wine trails from here and the kind lady is very helpful in telling us which wineries to go all in full details(e.g.,...

Stayed with my friend I was travelling within one of the doubles out the back. Was comfortable, It had a tv amd had been nicely preheated for us! We got the warmest welcome from our lovely hosts. They made us feel at home gave us lots of local advice and even let me get a few herbs from the garden to...

Stayed there in 2008. We've stayed there for a few weeks. The owners were so nice and the place clean and cosy. We spent some wonderful evenings there on the terrace with the bbq. Moreover the localisation is great. You Can easily visit the vineyards around.

We stayed here in a queen-sized room in the cottage, full use of huge bathroom with spa, and cosy lounge and kitchen. Pat and Paul were very friendly and we had a long chat after dinner. The accommodation is in the heart of a well-serviced town, close to the excellent butcher and other shops. The kitchen is well set-up to...

We originally booked the front cottage online, which was advertised as fully self-contained, with no reference of it being on the same property as a backpackers. When we arrived, we immediately got a bad feeling. The host wanted to know the names and addresses of all five guests (we a family with grown children). He also insisted on knowing each...

Management response:

Originally we thought to ignore this review, however other guests believed we should refute the toxic remarks. The cottage and the lodge, where we live, are more than 30 meters apart. On arrival the group asked for an additional room for a fifth guest and we were able to open a room in the lodge. No other guests were on...

This place couldn't have had more charm and it's all due to the lovely owners, Pat & Paul. Such a nice cozy quiet stay here. We were in a camper van but used the kitchen and living room facilities - which had everything we needed and more. We also rented bikes from them (the cheapest in the area) and Pat...

Not being sure where we would be able to stay with our campervan in renwick, we stumbled across this gem. At $18 a nighty each with all the clean and well looked after amenities you need, we were very happy. On top of that much cheaper bike hire than advertised elsewhere online at just $18 per bike. Owners were fantastic,...

Stayed in double room with en suite which was beautifully presented and immaculately clean, on the small side but that didn't matter to us. The facilities were superb and the bikes we rented were good. The owners were lovely, helpful and very informative. I would say it's a bit expensive at $99 and there should have been tea and coffee...
