We were doing the alps to ocean bike ride and stayed a night here. Great quiet location and friendly hosts. Couldn't fault it in any way. Only trick to look out for is that the street name is used currently for two cul de sacs in Omarama but they are only a short distance apart. If using gps ensure you...

There are only 2 rooms in this bnb. Mine was lovely. The bed was very comfortable. There was plenty of space and there were sliding glass doors that open into an enclosed yard that has a hammock. The resident dog and cat are both friendly but also well behaved. I think the cat may be an outdoor cat because I never...

Kay and Hank are wonderful hosts. Very friendly and exactly what you'd want from a B&B. We were cycling through the South Island and stayed in the town overnight, and Big Sky was perfect. The house has two private rooms with their own entrance in the backyard (which has a hammock, swing chairs, and tables if you want to relax)...

We arrived at Big Sky B & B to find a lovely, private room with its own street entrance and access to the main house via a patio and courtyard. The room was beautifully decorated and very comfortable with quality linen and bedding. The large shower, with great water pressure was very welcome, as was access to the outside line...

Kay made us feel very welcome and made some helpful suggestions about eating places for dinner within walking distance. The B&B rooms are warm and comfortable with their own entrances. It is located on the edge of Omarama in a quiet residential street. We ordered breakfast from a menu during the evening and gave the time we wanted to eat....

Kind, warm, welcoming owners. Went above and beyond by helping us out when we arrived wet and muddy from the Alps2Ocean trail. Delicious breakfast, made to order, and enjoyable conversation. Highly recommended.
