We spent 2 nights at Big Sky B&B in February. The room was very comfortable and it was lovely to be able to sit outside in the beautiful garden. The breakfast was delicious and the hosts, Kay and Hank, were very welcoming and provided us with lots of useful information.

Kay and Hank were a pleasure to deal with, super friendly and welcoming. The room was great, tastefully decorated, very comfortable and clean. In the room was a binder full of things to do in the area and Kay and Hank were a gold mine of information and ideas of what you might want to do during your stay. Easy...

Nice comfortable room. Good advice from Kay as to where to find out about Black Stilts (it's a rare wading bird - not what you were thinking!). Mount Cook covered in cloud again but nice drive to visitor centre at base. Good meal at Poppies in Twizel. Thanks Kay and Hank.

--Location easy to find, easy walking distance to Omarama's amenities, and quiet. --Hosts friendly and helpful; willing to share interesting and useful information about the area. As a bonus, the pets were also delightfully friendly, although I missed seeing the second cat. --Breakfast was literally all that we could ask for. No pressure about when we ate. --Accommodation itself perfectly...

We were doing the alps to ocean bike ride and stayed a night here. Great quiet location and friendly hosts. Couldn't fault it in any way. Only trick to look out for is that the street name is used currently for two cul de sacs in Omarama but they are only a short distance apart. If using gps ensure you...

There are only 2 rooms in this bnb. Mine was lovely. The bed was very comfortable. There was plenty of space and there were sliding glass doors that open into an enclosed yard that has a hammock. The resident dog and cat are both friendly but also well behaved. I think the cat may be an outdoor cat because I never...

Kay and Hank are wonderful hosts. Very friendly and exactly what you'd want from a B&B. We were cycling through the South Island and stayed in the town overnight, and Big Sky was perfect. The house has two private rooms with their own entrance in the backyard (which has a hammock, swing chairs, and tables if you want to relax)...
