Dennis and Sue are the perfect hosts. Our one bedroom apartment was spotless and we really appreciated the extra touches such as a fresh fruit bowl, breakfast supplies, tea, coffee and real milk (2 choices). The setting is magnificent and the outlook breathtaking. We had two nights and wished we could have stayed longer in the relaxing surrounds. It's a... More

Very friendly greeting on our arrival, left to ourselves for the weekend which was much appreciated. Gorgeous, very clean property surrounded by bush with views over the water. It was truly a retreat - completely quiet apart from the beautiful bird song. Good sized spa to relax in and a games room with snooker and a rock wall, very cool!... More

This is a great location, looking down a steep hill over the tidal waters at Sandspit. My husband and I stayed here for a month in December and appreciated the quiet spot. There is protected land next door and you will wake most mornings to the sound of the local tui birds chattering away. Lots of ferns and greens right... More

My Husband and I stayed here for a weekend in May, in the one bedroom cottage. The views and birdsong are wonderful and the spa on the deck was the selling point in what we were after for a low key weekend away. The cottage was well provisioned with tea, coffee, bread and lots of spreads. We weren't left wanting... More

We stayed here with our two small children and had such an amazing weekend. The scenery is stunning, the 3 bedroom house is wonderful, well kept and comfortable. It has everything you need including a spa pool overlooking the water. Spent nights supping local wine, listening to morporks in the trees, looking up to stars. Gorgeous quality time while the... Our family of 5 adults stayed here for one night on the way up to the Bay of Islands. The hosts were welcoming and friendly. The accommodation was superbly laid out and spotlessly clean. Everything was new and in good working order. The washing machine was a bonus and the hosts had even provided washing powder. Breakfast was provided in... More

We went for a much needed weekend away to de stress in peace. We stayed in the one bedroom cottage. This was the perfect place. Total privacy in an AMAZING setting with character.
