I am approaching 80 years old, and have travelled the world.. Taking all things into account, this is probably the worst accommodation I have encountered anywhere. The place stunk, constantly. And the entire place is tired. Interior decor is basic and in serious need of a makeover. No air conditioning. No effective heating. No coat hangers. Not even basic toiletries. Cockroaches in the kitchen. The cooker was filthy, with black muck around the elements on top which could be scraped off with fingernails. Check in and check out were unwelcoming and unfriendly. The place claims to be 4 star. There is nothing even 1 star about this motel. The ONLY thing 4 star are the prices. NZ$600 for 3 nights. We should have checked out the moment we checked in!

We had a group booking at another accommodation venue mucked up & were very grateful that Windsor Park could accommodate us. The units were spacious, the bed was comfortable & the unit had a table & chairs, plus easy chairs & sofa always an extra if you want to watch TV, as it's annoying to have to sit on/in the bed to do so. The facilities were good - hair-dryer, ironing board etc. The unit was clean, tidy & a short distance to town. The man in the office was very accommodating about anything that was asked. We wished it had been warm enough to swim in the pool! The only negative was that many found the TV difficult to operate. This is not a flash, new motel, but it is very comfortable & a reasonable price. Good for families - our room had a large bed & 2 singles.

The room was very small. It was also a very cold room. It was a clean room. Good for one night stay but wouldn't recommend any longer. Swimming pool out the front. Check in service was not particularly outstanding or friendly. Probably wouldn't stay there again due to small, cold room

When we pulled the bed cover back the blanket under was dirty and was very noticeable so would have been hard to miss. We couldn’t bring ourselves to sit in the sofa as it looked greasy. The shower had good pressure though.

Room was average. No Sky TV, no AC (beat up pedestal fan), no dishcloth, no tea towel, nowhere to put your stuff in the bathroom or bedroom shelving, vanity, nice wardrobe but no hangers, lighting in unit was minimal, no spare pillows or blankets. It is just the small things and details that make a huge difference so just take a look at this sort of stuff. You can get them at little cost via the Warehouse and such. As I said previously just pay attention to the small details.

Clean and comfortable room. Room cold, but heaters provided. Great shower pressure. Friendly check-in. Great bed and pillows. Swimming pool. Close to town and amenities. Off main road so fairly quiet.

We paid $150 for room, whilst a decent size, it wasn’t clean - toilet paper in the toilet, shower had mould. Flushing the toilet took 4 goes to remove contents. Bed was saggy; noisy traffic outside. We booked hotel in viaduct harbour, Auckland- executive 1 bedroom suite the next night for $144. Totally ripped off. We’ve been here 3 weeks and this was the worst and up there with price accommodation the whole trip. Warkworth is pretty but wouldn’t recommend staying there

Warkworth is a distant N. suburb of Auckland, but far away enough to be a base for trips to the North land. We found it clean and the beds comfortable. No air conditioning but the windows worked to cool the room well. Some rooms are recently remodeled, and upon arrival we were shown a couple rooms and got to choose the best one for us. The couple who are managers were helpful and gave us some great information for groceries and especially for an art gallery and 'NZ made' gift shop so we could make needed purchases before returning home.

Me and 5 friends stayed here in December for a concert we were going to, such a good budget friendly option. The room was well equipped and clean, and staff were very friendly. Plenty of free parking which was nice for us (we had three cars for one room) Overall a great experience!
