Great location, very comfortable and cozy unit. Lovely private garden and within yard of the beach or a short stroll into town. Helpful staff, free WiFi and a great base to explore the peninsula. Would have loved to have stayed longer!

The Tairua Shores motel is very good, spacious studio rooms with a comfortable bed and high pressure shower, something missing from many motels in New Zealand. The kitchenette is well equipped, with a grocery store a short distance away. The motel rooms are clean and well maintained and can be recommended highly. There is some road noise, but this isn’t...

Only stayed for one night but the unit was clean and comfortable. Within easy walking distance of the town and would be a good base for touring. The owners were friendly and helpful. The bathroom in our unit was a little old fashioned but perfectly adequate and clean with soft, fluffy towels.

We only stayed at Tairua Shores Motel for one night, on our way from Auckland to explore the Coromandel peninsula. The motel is just off the highway, but still quiet (we couldn't hear the traffic). Very clean and spacious room, nice little deck to enjoy the morning sun. I really liked the bed, my partner didn't - haha! Tairua is...

Stayed here for two nights, primarily to visit the Hot Springs Beach. Room had all you would need to self cater although the town and restaurants were only a ten minute walk away. Owners provided us with spades and towels to use on the beach. Would highly recommend this to anyone thinking of visiting this area.

For some reason the Coromandel was almost full to capacity despite it being mid Feb, so we weren't having much luck finding somewhere to stay. When I phoned they were so polite and helpful, when we arrived nothing was too much trouble, and the units were beautiful. Modern, spotlessly clean and stylish without the usual "motel" feel. The private courtyard...

Couldn't give this place less than 5 stars even if I wanted to! Had the best stay here and would book again in a heartbeat. Great location to must do's, hot water beach and cathedral cove etc. The owners were so so nice and the room was just perfect. Breakfast was great and they have great wifi and a washing...

We srayed in Room 3 and it was a nice room, everything was clean and tidy, nice outdoor area, handy to shops/beach etc. Friendly staff, fold out sofa not fantastic but sleepable. Carpark right outside the room.

The room itself was great for me and my wife. We are from the US and it did not have an American motel feel. It was a great, small property in a small coastal town. The bed was super comfortable. The bathroom was nice and amenities were just fine. Everything worked and there wasn't anything else what we needed. The...

Stayed three nights at the Tairua Shores Motel in a family room which was spacious and clean, although a little dated. There was a small private outdoor area at the rear of the room with a BBQ which we used each evening. On one of the nights the motel was full yet the area and room was still very quiet....
