What a fantastic weekend at Paperbark Camp! A 3 hour drive from Sydney and less than 10 mins to Huskisson, Paperbark was a welcome break that felt worlds away from anywhere. Staff are friendly and helpful (Patrick in particular), the site is clean, facilities well maintained and the food fantastic! The tent was quite chilly at night/morning and there's no...

I was a solo traveller, but I think best for couples/ families. The tent had all the comforts and the view from the shower was brilliant with Parakeets flying around. The resturant was spacious and lovely food, with some dishes served in paper bark. My trip was a few years ago some probably not that relevant, but it somewhere that...

We booked one night via a company gift, then paid for 2 extra nights. Absolutely loved the safari-style tents (1-2 meters off the ground, quite big, fixed frame). Met a few interesting people over the weekend that were also staying. Had a really, really nice quiet weekend to re-connect with my partner. Absolutely loved it. We went for Valentine's Day...

Paperbark Camp is an excellent quality venue. The luxury canvas tent on a raised platform provides an ideal luxury camping experience amongst Eucalyptus and Paperback trees. The friendly and professional staff ensure your stay is memorable. The meals, breakfast and dinner, at the Gunyah Restaurant were exquisite and worthy of the five star rating. The staff member, Patrick, was passionately...

Staying on a beautiful and comfortable canvas tent in the middle of the Australian bush is an unforgettable experience. The noises at night is what I love the most, all the birds and possums and other night animals moving around and singing their songs. Te camp is a long way from the road, and as you drive through the many...

We stayed here for two nights towards the end of our month in Australia - it proved to be one of the highlights of our trip. Not perhaps the full 'glamping' experience that some might expect, but it's very close to nature and all the better for that. The facilities are certainly comfortable enough and the staff were all excellent...

Absolutely loved Paperbark Camp with my family !! Nestled away in the bush, a few minutes drive to Huskisson and the nearest beach. My two kids aged 9 and 6 thought it was heaven. Luxury tent (King Parrot) exceeded our expectations. Camping with the luxury of your own outdoor toilet, outdoor shower, indoor bath, beds and a large deck was...

We were there with our daughter and family ( 3 teenage girls) for three nights. The girls were in a basic tent and we were in a De Luxe tent. Our tent, Kookaburra, was ideal as it was very private as no one had to pass the tent in order to get to their tent. We did not get bitten...

My husband and I elected to spend our $520 red balloon voucher on a night at Paperbark. We were hoping for a true 'glamping' experience (given the expense) but ended up being pretty underwhelmed. The tent itself was well set out and the large bed very comfy (though it was 2 singles pushed together) and included a mosquito net. The...

Thank you for taking the time to write such a thorough account of your stay at Paperbark Camp, we very much appreciate it and have taken on board your comments regarding the signage on trails, no doubt they are more suited for walking and perhaps we should make this clearer to our guests. We also recognise that over the record...

I've done a lot of travel in my life and this was a very underwhelming experience for many reasons. We stayed on a weekend in peak season in January. The key issues we had were: 1. The communal area (which includes the restaurant) was very badly maintained and not clean: huge amount of cobwebs above the dining area on the...

Thank you for taking the time to write such a comprehensive account of your stay, though of course we are disappointed that you did not have the kind of Paperbark experience that we would hope for and that we have become known for over nearly twenty years of operation. We would be happy to communicate with you directly regarding your...
