    we went on a four day excursion and want to go back for more. We had awonderful guide, superb food, and a great chance to supprt indigenous people in preservation and sustained use of the Amazon rainforest. An amazing, gorgeous and complex ecosystem

    I would suggest not! You are very likely to be eaten by a caiman!

    I think it's plenty safe, but it's extremely remote. If you need medical attention, you might be a few hours from a hospital. You should check with the management to find out what they recommend.
