A friend and I stayed here for 4 nights. The whole centre is just amazing, each room or suite is in a separate thatched 'hut' and our room was excellent, very clean and well serviced throughout. Food was excellent. The long journey to reach the lodge shows just how remote it is and it is well worth the trip. We...

Just look at the pics of these huts! They are so very charming. A hot tub on the back veranda! Not air conditioned but a good sturdy fan running over the mosquito net over the bed. This may be a little rough for some, but paradise for us. The staff was so helpful and knowledgeable. Our guide was unbelievable in...

Remote, in the heart of the forest is a wonder to behold. Situated on on the banks of the Kichwan hunting grounds one awakes in 5 star comfort to the eerie sound of the "Red Backed Howlers"(amonkey)... a Caiman's surge in the dark waters and a friendly warm wake-up call. Fireflies a-twinkle, oars dipping, we slide through dark piranha infested...

You know a place is remote enough to see amazing wildlife when you have to travel 2 hours by motor canoe and 2 hours by paddle canoe from the closest town! But don't let the travel detour you. The staff at Napo have got this down pat and you will be treated like royalty! The lodge is gorgeous on a...

This stay was the highlight of our holiday. We stayed for 5 nights and thought this was the perfect length of stay. The journey to the lodge from Quito is long but is interesting in its own right, the flight over the Andes and the motorboat journey both had great sights to see. The lodge staff met up with us at...

I've wanted to see the Amazon in person since I was a little girl, so when I booked this trip, my expectations were very high. Even still, I was not prepared for just how nice this lodge is. It's the only thing as far as you can see (which from the lodge's observation tower, is very far indeed), and despite...

This is 5 star resort in the middle of the jungle is focused on the wildlife while providing every luxury and convenience for the visitor. The service and comfort are second to none, and considering how everything has to be transported in by canoe, the $4 litre beer at the bar is a bargain! Our guide Edwin and local naturalist...

We were questioning our decision on the long journey there, but it was worth it once we started to see the animals and then got to the lodge. Greeted with cool towels and fresh fruit juice - they really know how to run a resort! Rooms and bathrooms are huge and well kept. Be prepared to get up very early...

As part of our birding holiday we had a five night stay, which allows flexibility if the weather is bad, mosy people stay 3 days as a Galapagos add on. Getting to Napo is relatively easy, motor canoe from Coca approx 2 hours then a paddle canoe up the creek to NWC approx 1.5 hours all dependent on the state...
