First of all, I have to say my biggest regret about the Yarina Eco Lodge was reading the negative reviews on TripAdvisor and almost not picking this place. This place was AMAZING. I don't know where to begin?! THE ROOMS: First of all, this is the freaking Amazon. If you expect a 5 star hotel then why the heck are...

I enjoyed my stay here! It was beautiful, the people were very friendly, and the food was delicious! The activities were really cool also, and it was nice that they had a translator that went on the activities with us.

How great to hear the monkeys and spot them in the treetops, help return a young sloth to the wild, watch the stars in the black night on a lagoon, see beautiful azure butterflies. Ants, at least 6 kinds were a highlight on a nature walk. Who knew how important they are to the jungle. We experienced all this at...

We were on a vacation through OAT and stayed here. It is rustic but clean and the food was great. We had a great time and would definitely stay there again. We loved the Amazon and the view from the lodge was great. Especially watching the squirrel monkeys eating the bananas the lodge put out for them

Yarina is an charming little resort located off the Napo river in the amazon. Guest rooms are small thatched cottages each with a private bath, front porch and hammock. There is no air conditioning, but it is not necessary . Beds are covered with misquitoe netting at night, but I saw few misquitoes .Meas were good, wholesome , and used...

We did see a Red-toed Tarantula on one of the hut porches, but no mosquitoes or flies even at night. The huts are basic, but we dropped the netting down over the beds before dinner so the room lights, even if they attracted some bugs, we were not bothered as we slept. Refills for our bottled water was always available....

rooms are comfortable and clean. since made of natural materials with gaps in the walls, the rooms are damp. Electric from 6PM to 10PM. This is anoying. Staff is friendly but speaks very little English. Lodge is not far enough in the Amazon area to see much wildlife. Boats that go on local trips do not have tops or sides...

The Yarina lodge is located very close to the Napo river which is an important tributary of the Amazon river. It is a bit away from the river and therefore very quiet and away from the traffic on the river. The rooms are very comfortable and clean and roomy. All have private bathrooms and hot showers. There is electricity from...

Accomodations were beautiful, food was excellent and the atmosphere was magical. Louis and his helpers prepared amazing food. Eduardo was really cared about the area and was a great companion and guide. The lodge was beautiful. We were warned about bugs but there was nothing compared to back home. We felt vey comfortable and very much at home. The surroundings...

Starting with the 45-minute canoe ride from Coca to the lodge, my 3-day trip was wonderful. The central area with the "bar", tables for meals and areas for relaxation was great. It was open, so we had to interrupt our meals several times to watch bands of monkeys traveling through the canopy. We had a downpour one morning (an hour...
