***This review is for the restaurant of El Manglar***
First off, I am in love with Isidoro and his wife. They are the most accommodating, welcoming and sweet people, ever.
Then the food! Oh the food. Just so delicious. Everything that we ever ordered was just so incredible, that it makes my mouth water just remembering about it.
Every night we spent in Las Tunas we went back to El Manglar.
If you want something that's not on the menu, he will accommodate you. You feel like you want something added (for me, it's always more garlic on anything) he will go above and beyond. The Dorado ala plancha con ajillo, the platanos con ajillo, the breaded fish.... Wanna go back here NOW!

I came here with my husband and a friend. We were blown away by the accomodation! It was like a dream. The cabanas themselves are super cute and the beds and pillows so comfy. The mosquito nets are the prettiest I’ve ever seen. Isidro and his family are so sweet and welcoming. The restaurant also offers a range of delicious food cooked and served by Isidro and his family too. The location is picture perfect in front of the beach and you can sleep with the sounds of the breaking waves. Totally recommended.

It’s a scam, we book with booking and 3 month later we are contacted directly by this place to pay almost 50% more and book directly instead of using booking otherwise they will cancel. We did not agree and it was canceled.
Watch out for this place!!

I have eaten here a couple times and they are super friendly and helpful and even helped me with my Spanish. The pollo/ chicken, the pulpa/octopus and the ceviche are all great! I also loved the mora batido/ blackberry smoothie. I am still in Las tunas and will be back for more! Real authentic fresh food at a decent price. Viva El Manglar!
