The hotel was great. Our room was clean, the owners are wonderful (and extremely knowledgeable about the area). Good location in town. Great restaurant-- fresh ingredients! Great coffee! I live in Quito and am recommending this place to all friends visiting Mindo!

If you're planning a trip to Mindo, don't look anywher else. This is the place to stay. - very nice rooms (silent nights) - very helpfull owners (english speaking) - fantastic breakfast (included) - great restaurant - free mineral water - great location (close to busstop) what else do you need? If I ever get to Mindo again, no doubt,...

Very friendly and helpful owners made this place. It has a quirky design. Its location is right in the centre of town. The bed was huge and luxurious. Pity about the noisy cockrell nearby , but that's not the hotel's fault. Mindo is a beautiful area for walks and birding. There are several restaurants in town- although they all seem...

We spent two nights at The Dragonfly but couldn't sleep because of the street noise and lights illuminating our room. (Other rooms may be better.) We had a nice dinner at Caskefessu and decided to move there for our next two nights. What a welcoming we received! Susan and Luis are wonderful hosts and arranged our zip line and rafting...

My friends and I stayed here for a night during a trip to Mindo. The owners of the hostel were incredibly friendly and gave us lots of advice on what to see and do. They also make the best brownies I've ever had! The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable and the hostel is located right around the corner from...

This place was amazing. It had real beds (as in thick matresses America-style) and the coffee was quality. Both of those are rare in Ecuador if you aren't shelling out the dough. This place was a great value, and actually took us in after our reservation was lost at another hotel in town. They got us set up in a...

Susan and Luis are amazing. My 4year old daughter was traveling with me, and they made us feel very very welcome and recommended kid-friendly activities. No matter how busy they were, Susan and Luis always had time to answer our many questions. Not to mention that they hotel and the surrounding location are absolutely gorgeous. One more bonus was that...

I've stayed at Caskaffesu two years running now, and have been completely satisfied on both trips. Luis and Susan are wonderful, and the lodgings are clean, pretty, and well-equipped. The food and drinks are great, and offer nice variety for such a small town. In 2009, Susan helped us get oriented to Mindo and its activities. We enjoyed four days...

After a loud night at the DragonFly Inn, I quickly woke up and came here. I had a peaceful night and a wonderful breakfast. The garden cafe area is lovely for reading and relaxing (day and night). I would stay here again. Only thing missing are the hammocks.

I had a lovely stay at CasKaffeSu. I first met Susan when I came to dine in their restaurant (which has very nice food, highly recommended), and was instantly struck by how warm, welcoming, friendly and helpful she was. When I then needed to find a room for the next night of my stay in town, CasKaffeSu was the obvious...
