La Casa de Cecilia is charming! We stayed in a private cabin with its own bath which was clean and lovely. The staff was excellent, very accommodating and ready to help. We spent a lot of time relaxing in the garden and watching the birds at the feeders. You can even take a swim in the little river!

Great place to spend the night as you explore the zip lining and waterfalls. I would also recommend using them for the tours, especially if the ladies husband can give you a ride in the back of their truck. Lots of fun!

We stayed for two nights in the 4 bed dorm upstairs. Very clean, amazing patio and birds every where. The hammocks on the deck are well positioned to watch toucans, tanagers, hummingbirds, and Mott motts. We did a birding tour with Irman who works out of Bio hostel. He was excellent. We saw 36 types of birds including green toucans,...

The place was incredible! next to the river, 5 minute walk to the town, however it felt like it was so far away from it. Nature all around and the service was really warm. They have all the information about the activities you can do. I am definitely comming back!

I stayed here for a few nights with some friends. We had one room with 5 beds (a single and 2 bunk beds), and the room across the hall with one bed. This place has a rustic look and feel, but we enjoyed our time. This is definitely not the place for you if you need western style comforts. At...

This was a gorgeous place to stay. Not very fancy, but our room had lovely views of the river. Beds were covered with new mosquito nets. I don't love having to share a bathroom, but the hostal did a good job keeping them clean. The location is really what sells it - there is a lovely place to eat breakfast...

Can't say enough good things about this family run lodge. It is located off the beaten track in Mindo - but very close to the centre of the village. The rooms are very clean and well maintained. The staff is very friendly. Spend some time sitting by the river in the outdoor eating area and enjoy the birds and other...

I've been here twice and my husband and his friends have been here several times. It is simple, relaxing, clean and the staff are friendly. It is cost effective for those on a budget and backpacking. It really upsets me when I read these reviews and people say "They did't speak one word of english" Well DUH you are in...

The worse place I have ever stayed. DO NOT STAY HERE!!! AVOID!! I arrived late in the evening and was shown to a room, I had a choice of 2. As it was so late I chose the one the member of staff (I guess the owner) recommended. It was tiny but worst of all was the STENCH! The smell...

I had a lovely relaxing stay here, it's a beautiful spot on the river, with a jungle feel and hummingbirds buzzing around, with a spot you can swim in to cool off on a hot day! The staff are so friendly, and it was a good place to meet other backpackers. Gracias!
