Our stay at the Arasari was very comfortable. It’s in a beautiful tropical setting, the cabins were comfortable, had a nice porch in front of the cabin where you could sit and relax, and after a day of hiking, we hung around in the hot tub watching stars. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was great. Worked fine for...

I found the service to be meh, the food to be meh, and the whole experience to be meh. The manager and workers seemed nice but they apparently did not like us and let that bias get in the way of doing their job. I felt awkward when I was there and heavily judged. The breakfast was just scrambled eggs...

What a bummer. We spent months planning a trip to Mindo and we're not welcomed. The staff - especially the manager - made it very clear that we were not up to her standards. We spent so much money here and truly regret it. Mindo is a lovely place where we had amazing experiences but coming back to this hotel...

We went here to enjoy a girls' weekend. This was very hard to do at this hostel. * We weren't allowed to play music or talk outside after 9pm. * There were stinky dogs roaming around. * The breakfast left me hungry and the "coffee" was not good. * The hostería recommended a pizza place that had a $62 pizza...

We had a horrible time here. Stay away! Not only did they have horrible service but they recommended a pizza place that took four hours to deliver and charged $62 for one pizza. We rented out the whole place and were treated like 5 year olds. They took our alcohol. They told us to be quiet at 9. None of...

I came with a group and we were extremely disappointed in the service and hospitality of the manager throughout our stay. We rented out the entire property and were constantly being told of "new policies" that were magically put into place during our visit. We brought our own alcohol and were told we were only allowed 4 bottles (for 20...

Management response:

Dear Ms., we have to say that it has been a painful experience both for our staff and the community to have this group en nuestra Hostería. Normally groups come here with safety and respect, e.g. without behaviors that can cause trouble not only to the other guests (in this case the Hostería was dedicated to this group) but also...

The staff was the best part of our stay. They were Very nice and helpful! Breakfast was good, better than most I suspect. Hot tub was not that hot. They heat it up ahead of time for you which does not allow enough time to get it hot the way people want it. The place is a little old which...

The property is well maintained and groomed. Beautiful gardens, charming cabins, heated swim pool and TWO jacuuzis plus steam rooms!! In a very quiet setting just a couple blocks from the village. Friendly dogs and cats hang about. The eating area was also a treat for the eyes with colorful tablecloths and good food. The cabins themselves were efficient, clean,...

I stayed in this place with friends, I liked the pool and hot tube, the nature and staff is kind. Breakfast is not so good, I had to order extra!! the worst thing is they don't have road sign, it is so hard to get there in the evening, specially if you are drunk

Management response:

Dear Stefano, thank you very much for your kind comment about our staff and installations. The breakfast included with the accomodation is a continental breakfast: fruit juice, hot drink, eggs, bread, and fruit salad. Our guests usually find it enough, but we are indeed happy to provide extra if one is really hungry. We are sorry to hear you came...

Wee did not have a good time there and pretty much put a damper to our trip. Their pets are around the dining area which they think is ok. They were begging for food, going on the ping ping table. Also, I got an electric shock from moving the shower head. An employee told me that it is logical that...

They are very friendly, and very thankful. They know they are not allowed to go in the dining area. As rescued...
