The hostal Palacio Azul is a very atmospheric colonial building now in use as a hotel. It is not possible to have dinner there (at least not for non-guests) but there is a very pleasant bar. The waiter was kind enough to refer us to restaurant Pelicano.

I stayed at the Blue Palace in October 2016 and had an amazing experience. I felt right at home. Everyone that worked at the hotel were friendly and always willing to go the extra mile for you. I felt like they were part of my family. The view of the Cienfuegos Bay and the sunsets are amazing! I will definitely...

We stayed here for 3 nights on our way around Cuba. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful and really sticks out when you see it. It's refreshing to stay somewhere unique rather than the big concrete hotels. The Palacio Azul is quite small with only 6/7 rooms. We had a room by the front door/breakfast room/bar which was ok -...

We stayed at the Palacio Azul for one night on our way from Havana to Trinidad. The place is really nice, both outside and inside: it is a small hotel with only 7 rooms, that looks more like an old well-cured house than an hotel. If you search something special, well cured in all the details but different from big...

Hotel it was on the water and with views from the roof deck. The hotel is small (7 rooms I think) but very well kept and quaint. Rooms are a good size and well kept. Staff are excellent. Bar was very cheap compared to US prices. Bfast was very good. Great location for walking along the water etc.

Apart from having spectacular views to Cienfuegos Bay, what really appeals to me in this small (7 rooms) and cosy Hotel; is the friendliness of its staff. They are always thinking on you, for instance they offer a personalised breakfast, instead of using the normal buffet or semi-buffet in small hotels, they serve every guest a full breakfast, according to...

We stayed at the Palacio Azul for one night on our way from Holguin to Havana and had a very nice stay. The staff were very welcoming and the building is very nice. Our room was on the second floor with a nice balcony with a view of Yacht Club and the bay. There was a nice big bed, safe...

Loved this hotel it was on the water and with great views. The hotel is small but beautiful vintage style. Rooms are large, service is excellent. Bar restaurant was nice and charming but prefer eating across the road at the private club. Go before tours and pick a table on the bslcony. Private and romantic.. Usual full.book ahead prices reasonable

We loved the Azul. It is very bright blue and a stunning old building. Staff could not have been more friendly. Breakfasts cooked to order. We stayed in the Hugo Chavez room which was a decent size and had a lovely balcony looking out over the Bay. Simply delightful. The Club next door is a good place for a swim...

A beautiful grand old building with some 6 rooms only. Quite boutique. Overlooking the bay, great priced cocktails and roof top vista! King size bed, very comfortable, flat screen TV with International news channels, good hot showers. Does have a restaurant, but mainly for breakfast.
