Although this is not a 5 star accommodation, it is certainly adorable! The people were so kind. We took the rough hike to visit the waterfalls, and although we got lost; we had a great time finding our way back:). Ask for Sheala/Minga! She was just the best. So so sweet as she cooked up and served the most delicious...

My husband and I stayed for a week end. Employee at check in counter was very nice and accomodating, since we didn't like the lication of the first cabin they offered us. Also it looked badly maintained. The second one had a very nice, clean bedroom, but it had an extra futon type bed that looked like trash. Its torn,...

A beautiful and picturesque hotel ("parador") in the mountains of the West part of the island. I was here for a work meeting. Their meeting center is big, spacious, with air conditioning and high ceilings. The hotel have indoor and outdoor pool. And close to them is an ecological forest. I'll be back for a weekend get away to spend...

This place is a hidden gem in the mountains of San Sebastian, Puerto Rico. The look is rustic, but the experience was not. The staff is incredibly attentive, courteous, and helpful. The staff and food from the cafe are awesome. The coffee was delicious, as was all the food we had. The walking trails towards the waterfalls made for an...

About two weeks ago we stayed at Hacienda El Jibarito. We liked the place very much, it is a great place to rest and be away from the crowded and hectic life of the city. The view is incredible. The room was very clean and we liked the rustic decor. There is a cafe at the property which serves sandwiches,...

We went on visit during the day. The view is excellent. They need to improve the service. The coffee area is nice and a good coffee and pastries, but the service needs to improve. There was only one person attending the coffee bar on a long weekend and the area was full os guest and visitors.

What a wonderful experience. Beautiful views high atop the mountain amidst rolling fields of plantons and coffee farms. The Hacienda hosted our daughter's wedding. They did a exceptional job....beautifully done. From the youngest to the oldest the whole family enjoyed.Coffee was awesome and the breakfast (awesome) was served on a terrace with a beautiful view. Be sure to visit the nearby...

This September 17, 2016, my husbands son will be celebrating his wedding in this Hacienda. We wanted to see the distance, ways to get there and most of all, their facilities and rooms. It took us two hours to arrive but roads were very good and the map was easy to follow. They had a wedding the night before and...

The Hacienda is great for someone looking to escape the city, great mountain views, hiking trails an indoor and outdoor pool make for a great getaway. However I would not recommend staying at the villas specially the ones down the "jalda" (downhill). The housekeeping was lacking to say the least in the villas and one of the rooms does not...

“I wouldn't recommend any of the rooms. I stayed in a suite, really just a poorly lit room with two beds. The "jacuzi" was unusable becasue the water was too cold. A friend stayed in a standard room; it was so small and dark they couldn't stand being in the room. A few friends stayed in the Villas, really just cabins without screens for the windows. All rooms smelled damp and musty.”
