We were last here shortly after Hurricane Maria and were happy to be back. The restaurant is open air with beach view and open for breakfast, lunch and early dinner. There is also a poolside bar with snacks which was new since our last stay. Pool is sparkling clean. They have lost some of the walkway along the beach to storm damage/erosion. Great walking on the beach. Playa Jobos nearby has new places to discover for food also. We had an upper level room with two beds, microwave, coffee make(bring your own coffee) (b, small fridge. Cups/glasses were supplied. Plenty of towels and toiletries supplied. Plenty of hot water, if anything that is my only warning- be careful that you don't get scalded in the shower. We have now had four great stays here. So peaceful.

We loved the location but the bungalow was mediocre at best. The living area included a small fridge, a coffee maker, a large countertop but no sink. The sparse furnishings were wicker and very uncomfortable. The bedroom was air conditioned and the bed was pretty comfortable. The bathroom was big but there were no towels. The bungalow included a porch with a small table where you could sit and relax to the sound of the crashing waves. If it weren't for the location, we probably would not have stayed here. The "resort" needs a lot of TLC .

I have visited this place with my family for many years. The facilities are very nice and it is located on an excellent beach. The employees are generally very friendly and helpful. However, the management has allowed the deterioration of the facilities due to lack of maintenance. In our apartment the microwave had mold, the space was not very clean and the mattresses are old and uncomfortable. The pool was so dirty that no one could use it. The plan we had for a family reunion next year has been changed. It's a shame since it was our favorite place to vacation with the family.

I was really dissapointed for the lack of customer service.I can understand Covid 19 limits room clean up service however daily towel replacement was not provided.Unless you go to front desk and inquir for them you would need to stick with dirty towels.
House cleaning was poor; upon arriving windows screens were dirty; toilet water coming out of bottom of toilet never fixed eventhough informed since first day we arrived.
We stayed 3 nights and no cleaning
ever given.
We rented 2 Houses located beach front. Its location are out of this world with beautiful ocean view. However, houses maintenance are very poor and even needed of pest control .
I complaint and asked.to speak with a manager or owner and indicated personally that I would be writing a.poor review.Upon checking out and mentioning this to Front Desk nobody from management came as to listed to what I had to say.
I LIKE to sponsor local Paradores but unless they keep minimum quality service it will be difficult for them to compete and stay open..
Las Casitas 3 day stay is not cheap...I will not return to this Parador.

Roaches, poor structural conditions (cracked roofs), not organized at all, restaurant hours we went at 6:45pm and they were closing because the Chef “had to go”, but it was supposed to be open until 9:00pm, so you can’t plan a Family Dinner in this place. Extra guest, we were told days ahead upon our arrival that we would get a “couch” (which is fine) instead we got a floor mattress, yes, a mattress in the floor, kid size. They blame Maria for all of the issues, but nope, not buying it, it’s all the Hotel management fault, Hurricane Maria is like COVID, people keep dragging it to make excuses or receive benefits, when in reality they been gone for a while now.

I wouldn’t bring my family to this place again, many other place like this or Hotels cheaper and better. If you just like the beach area then just drive in but don’t stay and pay for this crap!

This place is an absolute DREAM. Right on the beach, hammock, awesome pool that the kids loved, basketball, volleyball, playground. The water in the shower was marvelously HOT if you wanted hot water. The outdoor space was something from a movie. Hammock, nice chairs and dining table, outdoor swing, picnic table, etc. The outdoor space was HUGE! The beautifully painted casitas look straight out of a movie or story book. My husband had to tell me three times that it was time to leave- so hard for me to leave that hammock! The staff went out of their way to help us. We will tell everyone we know to make sure this place is part of their Puerto Rico itinerary. No need to explore- just staying on this property is an experience in itself!!

Once a year we look for a place where our family of 17 can enjoy some special time together. Rooms are great w wonderful view and within steps from the beach. Restaurant has not recovered since Hurricane María, but there are great spots nearby. Some guests are noisy until early morning and Administracion is absent at night to deal with it

Love this Place 😍❤💖 I highly recommend. We celebrated my husband birthday at the Olas y Arena restaurant inside of the parador. Brutal food, excellent service and amazing view. Thank you 💖❤😍! Our visit this year was on February and March. Plan to visit this place again on July 2021.

Place is simply awful! It was nearly impossible to stay there one night due to close to no air conditioning. The amount of roaches scattering around at night was horrific. I left after a sleepless night with no reimbursement for another night I was to spend there. The place is essentially a horror show, disgusting in every way possible.

My family and I spent a week in Puerto Rico. We stayed at Parador Villas Hau for four MISERABLE days. Rooms were DIRTY, HOT, and the restaurant served terrible expensive food. There is nothing good about this place. To get to this place is so dangerous, narrow winding, roads. Also I could not believe how many employees they have, mostly young kids that I did not know what their job titles were they just hung around doing NOTHING. When we went to complain about their terrible service, no running water, air conditioner not working, dirty pool, and clogged toilets all they did was pass the buck. We talked to one person, nothing got resolved. They would then have us talk to someone else. Bottom line nothing was done to make our stay there any better. I was very discouraged about Puerto Rico until we went to Fajardo. BOY what a difference. It was like day and night. My next visit to Puerto Rico will only be to the beautiful eastern part of the island. Culebra is awesome! STAY FAR, FAR AWAY from PARADOR Villas HAU.
