The room was very comfortable, spacious, clean and with a gorgeous view to the waterfront. The hotel overall is very charming, has a little boutique with food and books for sale. Breakfast was included in the price and it was delicious.

This is the best overall place we have stayed in many years travel in Canada and the US.The accommodation in the old house turned Inn is top notch. From the very friendly staff to the beautiful room and amazing location we enjoyed every minute of our 2 nights. We enjoyed both of our dinners and the home cooked breakfasts were...

This is a hotel that used to be a privateer’s location. The hallways are narrow, the rooms quant, and the bathrooms are small. Some would call the bathrooms charming, I would call them in need of some work. The shower did not drain and the distance between the counter, toilet and tub was not more than 1/2 meter radius. Overall...

Where do I begin?? This place is superb! The room was spacious and very comfortable. Came with a mini fridge too! The bed was relatively comfortable. The ac was ductless and very dependable! It's right in town and you can walk to the little downtown area and even walk to the lighthouse just past the town. We went to nearby...

Yum. The fish and chips are crispy. The fish is fresh. The fries are very tasty and obviously home made. The setting is nice with a view of the harbour (from the lounge). The staff are great and consistently deliver prompt friendly service. Definitely worth a visit.

This was our second visit to Lane's for a late afternoon lunch. We ordered a couple of pints and relaxed on the charming patio. I had the haddock burger with a cup of chowder which was served in the teeniest side dish I had ever seen from any resto. Almost laughable in it's size. My partner had the burger and...

We were passing through on our way to the yarmouth ferry and decided to do a night at the inn. It's a historic house on the pretty mercer river with a full bar and restaurant on the first floor as well as a gift shop. The room was clean and comfortable (we got a king) WiFi was strong and free....

I stayed at Lane's Privateer Inn while passing through Liverpool. The check-in was fast and our room was very comfortable. The breakfast was amazing the next morning! We also had dinner there the night before and it was also great! Would highly recommend staying and eating here!

We found this place quite by accident. On a recent vacation, we were driving through Liverpool on our way to an entirely different destination when we spied a sign advertising "join our live music patio party" Never one to turn down live music (or a party), we turned the car around and decided to explore what Lane's Privateer Inn had...

This is the second time we have stayed and eaten here. The inn is a very old, historic building, situated in a beautiful spot on the Mersey River, and walking distance to downtown Liverpool. Both stays we had a queen room on the main level, overlooking the river. The rooms have been recently remodelled, and are comfortable. We had no...
