You know something is good when you go back time after time. Durell is the HOST. Range of knowledge, takes care of all the little details, loves to talk, Came back to the B&B for quick drinks and cigars on the veranda, talked 2 hours with our host. World traveler, he is such a treat in this "give me your...

Only a 3 room bed and breakfast but no room for complaining anywhere. Sits on bluff above the Mississippi river with a spectacular view. Furnishings are unbelievable and must be viewed in all rooms. Breakfast is delicious and morning coffee is even delivered outside your room before breakfast. Durrell, the host, is an amazing man, excellent cook, and full of...

Two couples, one experienced with B&B and one having their first stay at a B&B while celebrating their 39th anniversary. All four of us immediately felt like we had arrived at a family member's home. We were greeted warmly and given the opportunity to freshen up and received a complete tour of the house. It sits on a hillside overlooking...

This is the most fantastic B&B I've stayed in. Durrell, the owner, has a terrific personality. You won't beat the furnishings anywhere. The view of the Mississippi River can't be beat especially when sitting on the porch with a glass or two of wine, provided by Durrell, watching the sun go down and the lights on the bridge come on....

Odds are if you are a tourist, you come to Natchez, Mississippi, in search of history. Natchez is not the easiest place to get to in Mississippi, stuck away in a somewhat remote corner of the state along the mighty Mississippi River, just north of New Orleans where the River exits to the Gulf. History seeps from the sidewalks in...

The accommodations were excellent the host, Durrell was attentive and paid the utmost attention to every detail to ensure that our stay was better-than-expected. I would recommend this property to anyone who is going to stay in the...

Old home, filled with Victorian (?) furniture, antiques and mementoes of years past. The host, Durell, will keep you entertained with stories and facts about the area and history, as well as his own colorful past. The view of the Mississippi from the front porch and balcony was impressive.

Riverside offered everything I looked for in a B&B - historic home; lovely period furnishings, especially in bedrooms; peaceful balcony to enjoy the glorious view of the MS River; congenial host with tips for local restaurants and attractions; delicious Southern breakfast served on real crystal and china. Altogether a jewel of a B&B.

Best view on the bluff. Beautiful flower gardens and landscaping. We enjoyed sitting on the porch overlooking the river drinking his special blend of coffee which we loved! Inside the historical home, it was decorated according to the period of the home with lots of antiques. It was a dream come true to stay in this home. In the past-...

Durrell is in a league by himself. My second visit, not my last, and again wasn't disappointed. I had my list of restaurants and his suggestions matched mine. He even took care of the reservations. I mean how much can the guy do for you?? 2 couples had the upstairs complete with views of the Mississippi, private parlor, coffee by...
