Clearly a must see home. We did not stay or eat here. Only toured ... the house and grounds do not disappoint, the tour guide was a huge disappointment ... he was cold, lacked personality, short / curt answers ... clearly not happy doing these...More

So, Dunleith is an incredible property and a magnificent home. It's the only home in Natchez surrounded by pillars on all sides. It's also a hotel...which means you can't tour anything except the main floor. It's really a let down after you've toured other homes...More

I am sorry that you were disappointed in our tour. We usually get great compliments but understand everyone has different expectations too. We do only tour the bottom floor of the home but we also charge significantly less than other homes for our tour.
We were referred here for a tour by locals. We paid $8 each for a 10 minute tour of the first floor given by a rude and snobby guide who spoke of all of the things we could not do because we were not hotel...More
