We've had a lovely weekend break staying here. We needed a place to stay for our granddaughters baptism as we were bringing our aged parents too. The owner was fantastic, very accommodating. The hotel is lovely and clean and the breakfasts were amazing. It won't be the last time we stay there.

what a fab quirky place. Spotlessly clean truly welcoming loved it. Brian the owner is the most wonderful host we have ever met. He is a truly lovely man felt as if we had known him forever, even took my husband and I to the restaurant that we booked. He sat with us and had a couple of drinks breakfast...

I booked a twin room for the six nations rugby on the 20th December through booking.com and as usual an email confirmation! I received an email last night (8th January) via booking.com stating that the room has already been booked and was put on by mistake!! So, it's taken almost 3 weeks for a hotel who 'specialises' in room bookings...

I normally won't do a bad review as I appreciate that could be influencing someone's livelihood. However this "hotel" is bad. It is a shame as the owner is very personable. Firstly the rooms are not clean, the sheets felt slimy and the carpet needed hoovering. Several items needed attention, the shower head didn't fix to the wall, the shelf...

Booked the Beach house on booking.com. The location/position is superb- smack bang on the seafront. First impressions were excellent- it looks spot on! When got to the room we both felt a little disappointed, the decor and furnishings were well past their best and a bit jaded. The photos on booking.com were representative of the current state. On a more...

We had a wonderful al fresco breakfast at The Beach House. We were not residents but stopped by to enjoy coffee and breakfast on the terrace. The hotel has great views over the sea, the owner was really helpful and the weather made this a great morning. If you are passing by..... Try

No staff just the owner, restaurant closed, rooms dirty arghhhhh Never trusting trip advisor again!!! The trip advisor review was way out. The bed had no mattress protector, The room we had booked was given to another guest before we arrived, hotel was closed when we arrived and had to ring a number given on a notice pinned to the...

Room 7 is small but is a great place to see the Esplanade and the sea. The owner was very helpful and made us feel very welcome. The breakfast was very reasonable in price, cooked to order and piping hot. Even the coffee was first class.

Positives are that the Hotel is right on the Seafront with views across to Somerset. The owner is very Helpful and staff friendly. But negatives far out-way the positives unfortunately.Cost of the rooms are ridiculously expensive for what you get.Rooms are small but ok and like many others say, cluttered and in need of loving care. There is a road to cross to the...
