The Royal staff were all very welcoming, especially the waiter and waitress for breakfast and evening meal. We stayed in the four poster room on the top floor which was very traditional with very comfortable bed and plenty of hot water for the bath or shower. The breakfasts were exceptionally with very tasty offerings, and the evening meal we had...

Rooms were nice and the beds comfortable. The staff were very helpful to our party and went out of the way to help us. As were visiting for work we did not use the lounge and bar but they did look nice.

What a great hotel, lovely downstairs "Scottish feel", stripped floors, library sitting room and cosy bar with real log fire and lovely airy conservatory for meals. We has two twin rooms and they were of a high standard. Dressing gowns provided, Molton Brown products and the rooms were cosy on a damp October day. The staff were helpful and attentive...

Since discovering Comrie and The Royal Hotel less than a year ago, we've stayed there three times now and we know we'll be back. The hotel is excellent value for money, the staff are friendly and very accommodating and the rooms are a good size and with the comfiest beds ever. The food is great with lots of choice -...

Staying just around the corner, we didn't want to miss the opportunity to have a meal here. Floors are being refinished in the main dining/bar area so tables are set up in an area with a large skylight. This provided adequate light but the area was really too bright with the added artificial light. Fellow diners were from several different...

Had a lovely relaxing one night stay. Loved the feel of this place - traditional, comfortable and friendly. Very pleasant good sized four poster room. Building work going on but it had no affect on us at all. Excellent dinner and breakfast and good value for money.

Came here on a Sun evening & had a nice meal.... But not great. Booking procedure, & welcome were excellent. As a party of 3, we were sat next to a couple & 20 mins later a further couple came in & were sat further away. My point is that there were enough spare tables to seat us all with...

We spent 6 blissfully quiet nights here in August; it was incredible to find that there was no soundtrack running anywhere in the premises - the first time I have ever encountered this. The owners made a conscious decision to do this, and I wish a few more places might consider trying it out. The bed was extremely comfortable, and...
