We stayed for only one evening as we had tickets for a show at Cromer Pier. We stumbled on Thornybanks by accident but have fallen in love. It is about 15-20mins walk to Cromer, through picturesque countryside. A taxi ride is around £3.50. Rooms are individually decorated and we had The Poppy Room. It had everything and more that you...

We spent a lovely few days in the excellent new selfcatering cottage annex at Thorneybank. The cottage has two double bedrooms a large sitting room and kitchen area plus wet room and ensuite all fitted out with everything one could possibly need including a super woodburning stove for cooler evenings. Ronica made us very welcome and our jack russel Tommy...

Very friendly and welcoming place. We had a great time and really enjoyed our stay. We are not really dog people and we haven't read the reviews properly, but Ronica is very attentive and ensures that those who might not want to play with her dogs before breakfast are not bothered.

Didn't want to go home from our wonderful 3 night break at Thornybanks. Ronica made our stay extra special, lots of choices for the excellent breakfast. Poppy room beautiful. Already booked for a week in July, Georgie the pooch can't wait, nor can we! Tina and Des Woodhouse.

We have just enjoyed a 3 night break where we received a warm welcome from Ronica. Bedroom was spacious and comfortable and the breakfast first class. Other members of our family will be staying later this year in the gorgeous balcony room to enjoy the lovely rural setting. We look forward to returning.
