Friendly, helpful and attentive service but some of the food could be better. The roast beef was pleasant, cooked pink and adequate but the meal didn't have enough vegetables and was generally lack-lustre for the price. The fish and chips were expensive but good. The cod was

Dear Robinhoodie, Thank you for you review following your visit to us. I am pleased you found our Team to be friendly and helpful. I am sorry you felt the Roast Beef , did not have enough vegetables and the Fish & Chips to be overpriced, had you of mentioned your comments to the Manager on Duty at the time, we would of been able to offer you more vegetables for your beef and extra minted mushy peas. Please be assured we value all feedback and feel it is necessary for the development of the business. I have passed your review onto our Head Chef and Management team.

Hello. This is a basket of treats, snacks etc in the room which you are trusted to pay for - putting the money in an 'honesty box'. From memory the Red Lion offers a mix of crisps, sweets etc. Along with small bottles of wine. Enjoy your stay. It's a lovely venue. Great spot for exploring further along the north Norfolk coast.
