Good things: Location, the room has a bed, the room has aircom (I am really trying here) Things that you need to be aware of: 1. the hotel has a serious bug problem (pack your bug sprays and spray them EVERYWHERE. Whilst we are at it pack bite cream and antihistamines, even if you have sprayed everywhere the little blighters...

We checked in last week to this great townhouse hotel. There is an attached bar/restaurant run by a lovely hospitable French family. So welcoming and very funny we ended up talking a French/Spanish/English dialect I termed 'Spenchlish'. Free drink with every stay, great 'build your own' breakfast ridiculously cheap and warm service. Lovely resident dog also who we saw is...

We've been visiting the bar at the Fontanella for the last couple of years. The former owner Georgio and his wife have left which is an absolute shame because they were so so friendly. Nothing wrong at all with the hotel - nice rooms, a little small but clean & very modern. The guy now running it is French -...

I arrived in this lovely hotel last week. Firstly, the location is really good. It's only one step away from the center and the beach. Denia is a great city with nice restaurants and shops. I really enjoyed the peace and calm atmosphere. If you have any questions, don't mind to ask to the receptionist, he is really helpful and...

An excellent location, one block of the main oceanside thoroughfare with restaurants, cafe, harbour and even a ferry across to the Balearic Islands of Mallorca and Ibiza. A public bar & restaurant on the ground floor. Rooms and the en-suite bathroom are fairly small but quite acceptable for the price; wi-fi is free. Parking is available at extra cost is...

We've been touring most of Spain for a few months and this place left a lot to be desired. The pros: It's clean Close to town The cons: Ridiculously small rooms that you can't relax or hang out in. The toilet exhaust fan goes on when you turn on light - the fan was half broken making a ridiculous noise.....

For a hotel the service was a major let down, bordering on non-existent. The reception is not staffed 24 hours a day. This could have been a problem as the bar staff member who checked us in didn't tell us that the room key card also opened the entrance when it was locked. Came down to breakfast (which consistsed of...

A very nice hotel for a short stay. We stayed one night on a tour along the coast. Value for money and a very nice chap at the reception. The room was somehow smal, for 2 people, but for one night it was okay ! We were happy and lucky to find this place. Very nice location, close to the...

We needed a cheap place to stay for 3 nights in this particular area of Denia. Very pleaseed when we got there, the rooms are all new and decorated nicely. The rooms are small but are very clean and were better than we expected for the price. Didn't eat breakfast so can't comment, but the bar prices were very good...

“We ended up finding an out of the way hotel - hotel Rosa... It's a bit out of town, and setback from the beach - (20 second walk) - but we loved it. Huge rooms, the owner at the desk gave us heaps of local information and things to do and try.”
