Yes, Inn is old. Yes, there is no elevator. Yes, stairs are steep. Yes, floors are uneven. Yes, the Inn is historic, but that is the Inn's charm! Rooms are small, clean but comfortable. We enjoyed a delicious lunch and later snack in the pub. Staff friendly and helpful. Warm evening on the large front porch, rocking and eating dessert!...

Nice 40 minute day drop from Boston for some history and a pint at this historic inn and tap room. Really quaint town. Would like to come back some time. Nice folks work there. You can eat too. Nice clean rest room.

I spent one night at the Inn on a gorgeous spring day. The room was small but comfortable. There were 2 problems - the stairs to get to the room from the parking lot and the room faced a noisy road, which didn't bother me after I got used to it. The staff was friendly and helpful both in the...

This was a last-minute selection for a weekend trip to the Boston area. This is my first booking through the trip advisor app and it was really easy. Prices were discounted significantly due to unbooked rooms which made it cheaper than chain hotels nearby. Very quaint historic property with a ton of character. The guest room and bath were appointed...

We frequent the Colonial Inn for lunch when we visit Concord, you can sit on the porch or inside the tavern. There are formal dining spaces and we have been to the Inn for lunch, tea (what fun!), snacks. A great place to launch your visit of Concord, so much to see, shopping downtown, the cemetery, green, Alcott House, Longfellow,...

My wife, daughter, myself, and my elderly parents stayed at the Colonial Inn this past week, and there are no words I can say to express the gratitude we now feel towards this institution and its staff. We had been booked for two rooms on the 3rd floor, which is a no-go given my 85 yo father’s lack of mobility....

We generally like B&Bs but this came close. We had a room in the old section which still had original board doors and exposed beams and double hung windows. It was clean and comfortable as well as quiet, even though it looked out over the street. The staff were courteous and the service good. We enjoyed the breakfasts and had...

My wife and I meet up with a couple we meet on our trip to Alaska last year. I had never been to this restaurant before and was pleasantly surprised as to it's charm and quaintness. It was the perfect place to meet friends and have a great conversation. The food was tremendous and the waitress was very attentive. I...

Overall, inn was what is posted - lots of history, interesting area etc...Charming main rooms - restaurants very old fashioned and takes you back in time. Stayed in the newer Prescott Wing - very small, tight bathroom and shower so be prepared if you stay there. Kind of creepy feelings in hallways -again very old buildings. Dinner was wonderful -...

Stranded by the storm that hit the Boston area a week ago, I took refuge in the 300 year old Colonial Inn, in the heart of Concord. The staff was warm and welcoming, and I had a beautiful, large, impeccably clean room overlooking the main street. When the storm ended late in the afternoon, to venture out from the Inn...
