We received a great welcome from Ivan the joint owner. Most of our conversations were carried on via Google translate on Ivan's phone! Sadly his mother Matie the cook had...

Small, family run, spotlessly clean. Mother cooks and the son looks after the business side. Excellent breakfast spread, with good bread, croissants, pastries, ham, cheese etc. Decent home cooking in the evening. The son very helpfully drew a map enabling me to walk to the beach avoiding the main road (20 minutes). Otherwise the beach is a five minute drive...

Our 12 year old son son was at a surfcamp with Specialsurf (www.specialsurf.com) at Playa de Rodiles and we stayed the whole week in a duplex room at this wonderful hotel. Ivan and his mum couldn"t be a better team....they really make you feel at home. Maty was spoiling us with delicious homemade food from the region and her desserts...

Stayed here for two nights middle of September. Hotel was situated in a small village, not too far from the beach. A beautiful area of Asturias. Hotel was very comfortable and extremely clean. The owner, Ivan, was so helpful and gave us advice on places to visit in the area. Each room was decorated on a different theme - a...

a great stay. Room was comfortable and clean and fitted 5 of us with just a little squeeze. Hotel was charming, food home made and served with a smile. The staff really made it. They were very helpful and welcoming and even loaned us a football which the kids loved. Great for small kids too, safe surroundings with a garden...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Costa de Rodiles is a lovely and welcoming hotel located in a fertile valley of the Asturian coast, with numerous cliff that are interrupted by the outlet of the rivers, creating beaches of the great beauty and interest to tourists. All are hugged by the sea and mountains at the sametime. Very close is the beach of Rodiles, which enjoys an excellent situacion, and therefore it is a magnificent starting point that allows the visitor to enjoy the most attractive natural environments in Asturias: towns, beaches, mountains, in wich the tradition, art, nature and historical buildings meet in total harmony. The tourist can visit the typical cider presses, grain stores (our “horreos”) used for storing the harvest crops, beautiful places, where your are able to go for a walk, to fish, to go on a mountain bike, to surf and other aquatic sports, etc. The Costa of Rodiles Hotel offers the tranquility of its surroundings in an absolutely natural framework, where you can relax completely after visiting the countless attracions of the area. The building, completely new, combines tradition and modernity. Its highlights are stonework and wood, which give it a rustic aspect and makes a comfortable and welcoming place. In our rooms you can find all that is necessary for a comfortable stay ( bathroom, television, telephone, heating, desk and terrace, as well as a landscaped green area) We also have a ample parking. All the above mentioned together whit the family and our caring treatment makes the Costa of Rodiles Hotel different from most hotels.
