Another lovely stay in our favourite hostal in salobreña. As always we received the warmest of welcomes from the owner Jose luis. The rooms are clean bright and have everything you need. It is well situated in the centre of town, nothing is far away, shops, beach or historic old town. The hostal is great value for money, much better...

We often rent in Salobrena but for only a short 5 day break we looked for a small family run hotel which we chose from other TA reviews. Hostal Palomares didn't disappoint. Jose the owner is wonderful. He made us feel welcome the moment we stepped through the door. The room was small and looked onto the street which was...

This is fantastic little family run hostal in Salobreña. The father and his young sons are very friendly, the rooms are comfortable and well maintained. The best thing about this place is that is is away from the tourist scene! It's tucked away in a nice, quite, local neighborhood that gives a great feel of local Salobreña life. I would...

Beds good quality , mattresses too. I stayed Samana Santa weekend so room rate was elevated but this is normal everywhere in Spain . Nice place...

Hostal Palomares is a great choice. We have stayed here on many occasions and it is without doubt our favourite place to stay in salobreña. The hostal is well placed for the centre of town, and the beach and the old town are a short walk away. The rooms are all clean and have everything you need. Breakfasts are spot...

The rooms were decent; one quite small; the other a bit larger. The rooftop terrace, and place to string up your laundry, is great. We sat out and had a picnic dinner. The hotel is located very near the market and many shops and restaurants. The Alaska restaurant was recommended by the owner and is great. It's an easy walk...

This was one of the best hostals I have stayed in in Spain! It's been owned by the same family for many years. It went through a complete renovation in 2006. It's clean and modern, the most comfortable bed I have slept in, great pillows, good Wi-Fi, nice TV, and quiet! My room was off the little interior garden and...

The hostal is situated right in the centre of Salobrena, access to shops bars restaurants and even the beach are all within easy walking distance. Our room was spotlessly clean with everything one would need. The owner speaks english and was very helpful and always seemed to be on hand. Plenty of free parking nearby but maybe not so easy in...

Stayed here for one night only whilst travelling through Southern Spain on 1st of Sept 14. To be honest its one of the nicest places we've ever stayed, its a pity we couldn't have spent the rest of our holiday here. Spotlessly clean and tidy, nothing is too much trouble for the owner he even gives advise on the best...
