My review is solely about the SPA BAHIA ALMUÑECAR. A friend of mine was staying at the hotel and had received her complete head to toe therapy, as usual. She gets them everywhere she goes. She loved the spa, the treatment, the massage she received from Maria, the therapist, and the price of the entire session so much, she bought...

I don't know what qualifies this as being 4 star. The only positive is the location. The rooms are simple and adequate but the rest of the hotel is extremely dated and the breakfast hall resembles a cattle market or school dinners! There are only two lifts to service a large hotel and you will spend half your time waiting...

This is the second time that we have stayed in this hotel, the first time we stayed as a family 3 years ago and this time as a couple. Our room wasnt ready on arrival which is fair enough, the hotel said they would call us when our room was ready, so we changed and left our luggage with them...

Nice Hotel close to the city centre. Friendly staff who actually speaks English (not common in Almuñécar) The Hotel is quite new so it is not run down as the other Hotels in this town are. The Facilities are clean, the Air Conditioning is powerful and quiet (nice in the heat wave this summer). There is also a complimentary wifi...

This is a nice hotel in the town of Almunecar, a popular destination for Spanish holidaymakers. We stayed here as part of a family trip to the area, weren't looking for much as it was a short trip, but were pleasantly surprised. The rooms are recently decorated, very spacious and have massive double beds - plenty of space for 2...

We stayed for 4 nights - was disappointed that the pool was closed for maintenance as the weather was really good - the room was spacious and spotless - thankfully they have secondary glazing which cuts the noise from the main street - very noisy though sitting on the balcony especially those awful loud motorcycles that the Spanish seem to...

Nice modern hotel with a swimming pool on the roof. We stayed in January there and probably has got one of the best rooms on the top floot with nice sea view from the balcony. What we like the most are two huge wide comfortable beds and nice balcony. Good location, close to bars, restaurants, shops and sea. Very good...

The rooms are ok, but the rest ... Hallways are old, dark, and worn. Pool is old and dirty. Location is ok, near the old town where all the bars are. Do not book with breakfast and dinner. The restaurant is a 1 out of 10. Really, really bad. Veggies and fruits are rotten. Meat overcooked, the restaurant workers just...
