My wife, two relatives and I spent an overnight at the Hostal San Sebastian in Almuñecar. It is a very basic hostal, but that's all what we expected. We booked two rooms, which we found clean (including the bathroom) and well kept. There was air conditioning in the rooms, and the beds were comfortable. The wi-fi connection was also good....

It is situated in a quiet residential area 5 minutes walking distance from the tourist area of Almuñecar. The room we stayed in was very clean and nicely decorated with a working air conditioning and window towards a patio. The decoration of the entrance is very dated and the little bar adjacent to the reception was closed. This is not...

The hostal was nice and clean. The room was spacious. The hostal is located on a side street, but this street turned out to be constantly busy with traffic 24hours. At the same time there was no AC in the room. So, in the hot summer you have to open the window, but once you open the window, the noise...

So, in the hot summer you have to open the window, but once you open the window, the noise from the street is terrible and you cannot sleep! So, ask for a room not looking onto the street.”
